Re: Exeter Chiefs vs Bath Rugby
A strong Exeter side there Asbo, can't see Bath getting anything out of this one, I pretty much lost faith in a top 6 finish last weekend after going down to the Shedders AGAIN! The conditions were difficult for both teams, but Glaws ran way more ball than Bath and were more incisive with it.
I can see this game as being like a death from a thousand cuts!
If Bath can't get into 6th place, there's no team I'd rather take it than the Chiefs, good luck bud.

PJ, that;s v generous of you, mucher. Still a lot of games to get thru tho and I've got a bad feeling about today - hopefully our fairly abject display against Wasps has taught us a few lessons and given the necessary wake-up calls, cos if we play like that against Barf, it'll be a very long afternoon for the lads. Where we've done well this season is by playing with some tempo and dynamism, controlling the ball and taking our chances when they come along - it's not the prettiest of gameplans, but when done well, works just fine

Listen to us! A right pair of miserable doom-mongers!
Both teams come into the game off the back of less than impressive performances, neither of us fancy our side to win, and neither of us are expecting a tryfest.........
It's gonna be a cracker then!
All the best Asbo

I have to say I do love the Chiefs. No superstars in their, but what a team, so difficult to beat.
Young Cowan-Dickie looked good at loosehead for the U20's last night Asbo, what are the chances of him getting a shot in the Chiefs number 1 jersey in the run in?

Re: Exeter Chiefs vs Bath Rugby
I think we might be better served with young Luke than trying to get Tui to convert or to trundle Budgie out for conversion from tighthead also. Hopefully Mooner will recover quickly enough tho, cos I can imagine that we'll get put thru the ringer in a few games (Stade F, for example) if our scrum is wobblyOzzy3213 wrote:I have to say I do love the Chiefs. Was today Fearns' first game back?
The match details suggest he came on for Caldwell in the 2nd row. I presume he actually swapped over with Skirving once on the field?

You hit the nail on the head!
Exeter are a TEAM, how refreshing to have no superstars with huge egos.

Re: Exeter Chiefs vs Bath Rugby
unfortunately we forgot to play as a team and thankfully so did Bath. Result could have gone either way but Bath shaded it. Will have to wait for next season to get our first Prem win over Bath.
Re: Exeter Chiefs vs Bath Rugby
What a result that is! Only 7 points off the playoffs now!
