Who is the best mascot?

So one question I am always asking myself is which mascot is the best...

I know this may sound strange but as my job at Glasgow Warriors involves said mascot I always wondered if Clyde was the best (as we all thought) or whether the other mascots out there were any better?

So here's a few that I found on the internet as well as Clyde himself:

What kind of a creature is "Flinty" supposed to be?

Why do the Scarlets have a Dragon as their mascot (and emblem)? Is that not a bit confusing when one of the other regions are called the Dragons? Do the Dragons have a small scar as their mascot?

I love Clyde but obviously I'm going to say that since I'm a Glasgow fan. I've always thought the Connacht one is a bit weird looking, when I was watching the Connacht Glasgow game a few weeks ago I thought it was a duck or something especially from behind

The emblem is a dragon. It was on the Llanelli emblem as well. Cochyn was the mascot at Llanelli before the Dragons were thought of and was inherited by the Scarlets. If that helps?

Leo is clearly the most stylish of all of them.

Plus he’s “Leo the Lion” which is wonderful word play on “Leo the Laighean” which means “Leo the Leinster”. And also Leo is our captain, or our “Laighean King”. And we also have a supporters bar called “The Laighean out”. Leo also beat the Toulouse mascot (also a Lion) in a kicking competition in from of 50k people last year.

So for those reasons and many more. Leo is the best mascot going.

Always liked the Connacht mascot - gives it a full 80 minutes as well.

Sparky on the other hand has to sit down after 5 mins - what the hell is up with Ulsters conditioning coach Whistle

Obviously the Leicester Tigers is my favourite and it wouldn't be match day without him jumping about playing air guitar to smoke on the water as the team comes out.

From other teams I think the Sale Shark mascot thingy is ace, that guy(or girl) was break dancing and all sorts when I saw it. No idea what they were feeding but must have been a high concentration of sugar.

The kid on the right seems understanbably freaked out by the massive Turkey behind him. Its legs are the wrong colour too, but I guess coming from a team that cant count or tell the difference between Julian White and Martin Corry I guess that kind of error is quite normal

Easily the two Quins mascots although (or maybe because) they have got in to trouble for their antics with other mascots (riding them around and bullying them usually).

Usually get shouted at by my mates for celebrating during those games...

Got the stare of death last year from Rob Dewey when Ulster nearly scored last year and I had a strangled cry of "Aww feck"... But the free season pass makes it worthwhile. And getting to know a few of the Warriors boys too!

Sparky (Ulster)... I have to say it... looks like he's losing condition.

Needs to get back on the protein diet and the weights to lose the haggard look in the face. But what do you expect from a winger who never get's given the ball.
