***Saturday Tipping Competition - March 26th***
Hi All,
After a weeks absence, our challenge to find the winners is back .... With Racingnut still proudly wearing our 'Champion Tipsters' crown can any of us find the winners this weekend to knock him off his lofty perch ?!?!
Some interesting contests this Saturday and not just from these shores either. The richest race meeting in the world takes place at Meydan with the highlight being the Dubai World Cup which nets the winner a tasty £3.8 million. Channel Four also cover three other races from Meydan, all of which are top quality group races. Back in this country we have the valuable Winter Derby (in Spring ???)at Lingfield where some decent sorts try and land the bumper pot up for grabs on the All Weather, again supported by a couple of decent listed races. Last but not least, some competitive action from Newbury over the sticks with three nice handicaps for us to ponder over.
This week with so much action live on Channel Four, we'd be here all night if we had to pick one in each of the ten televised races, therefore we'll go for five selections each, the good thing is your five picks can come from any of the ten races which are listed below, again we will go for a Nap & Next Best which you will need to nominate.
The Races (Links to the racecards below)
Lingfield 2.00, 2.35 & 3.10
Newbury 2.15, 2.50 & 3.20
Meydan 1.50, 2.25, 3.05 & 5.35
The Rules
You must pick five selections in five different races.
You can nominate your selction to be Win or Each Way
You must nominate a NAP which you will have 4 Points to stake on (4pts Win or 2pts ew)
You must nominate a NEXT BEST which you will have 3 Points to stake on (3pts Win or 1.5pts ew)
Your remaining three selections you will have 2 Points to stake (2pts Win or 1pt ew)
All returns will be settled at bookmakers standard terms to returned SP odds
Any Non Runners can be ammended prior to the first race going off. Any subsequent Non Runner, your stake will go on the race favourite.
The winner will be the person with the most points after the final race.
In the event of a tie ... The crown will be shared and we'll have to find a bigger throne !!!!!

Re: ***Saturday Tipping Competition - March 26th***
1.50 Premio Loco 1pt each way
2.15 Kerada 2pts win
2.35 Dubawi Gold 3pts win
3.25 Ogee 2pts win
5.35 Twice Over 4pts win
funnily enough my 2 big tips for today are not in the televised races.
At Meydan one of my favourite horses is running in the 3.45 PRESVIS and then in the 4.50 I expect REWILDING to run a big race. Presvis is either brilliant or rubbish, but he has the fastest finishing speed of any horse that I know and with Ryan Moore aboard today I think he will do well.

Re: ***Saturday Tipping Competition - March 26th***
Many thanks all for entering this Saturday's tipping competition ..... and we have a new 'King Of The Tipsters' .... or should i say QUEEN !!!!
606v2's very own 'Thoroughbread Filly' is this weeks superstar tipster with a stunning 12/1 winner in Line Freedom complementing a couple of nice Each Way selections. I have to pass on an honourable 'Top Tipping' to Steve077 who pinpointed his best bets of the day being at Meydan, with Presvis & Rewilding winning at 5/1 and 2/1 respectively. Unfortunately, they weren't included in this weeks selected races, but great stuff all the same ... Quality result Steve and i hope you had a couple of quid on.
Todays Final Standings Are As Follows : -
SOLERINA -31.25 Points .... Sorry Sol' we'll pretend it's a pretty crown fit for a queen !!!!
GRAHAME - 21 Points
SWANSEA' - 13 Points
STEVE077 - 8.25 Points
SETUP' - 0 Points
RACINGNUT - 0 Points
Well done all, and thanks for taking part .... Same time, Same place next week !!
Cheers

Sol, I owe you an apology- was not until Grahame posted the results and comments that I realised you were of the fairer sex, reading back on the other threads I made a comment about " good crack gents" , I wrongly automatically assumed you were a guy.
So apologies, guess I must still be a bit of a dinosaur, but when I was brought up betting shops were not the plush establishments they are now and ladies would not have stepped foot in them.
Once again sorry for being a prat!
