The rot is spreading
According to NZ Media NZ are talking of 3 new Super franchises from 2015,money talks given the parlous state of NZ Club Rugby. The sad demise of the proud Otago Union, replacing the legendary House of Pain {Carisbrook}with a new stadium. The straw that broke the camels back, more is better?it seems as if the ITM/Currie Cup will be a token appearences for Test Players.More will miss Super matches and it will be devalued still further inclusion of Argentina and Pacific Rim sides makes Financial sense.BUT only if you have a multi League format with promotion/relegation Thoughts?
It would be good for Tier2 sides but bad for the Tier 1 sides in my opinion.

They want more and more teams in Super rugby but that will dilute the quality even further. It will also mean the players have to play more games and that could effect the national sides.
