ATP World no.11 made his ATP 250 debut this week
Well no idea how many knew this, John Isner the current ATP no.11 made his debut on ATP 250 tournaments, this is why tennis never becomes a global sport and most top level players are from USA and some well settle European countries.
No way on earth John Isner could have reached the current ranking had he not been given wild card after wild card in USO series, nothing against Johnny Bravo, I like him as a player and a fighter, but its very unfair on players coming from 3rd world nations. ATP should bring in a rule, the wild card entries should not be rewarded ATP points for their win in tournaments, this means players like John Isner can be given wildcards but their results in that particular tournament should not be rewarded with ATP points, the wildcard tournaments should just be an exposure for them outside money but not points. This would have made Big Johnny play ATP 250 long time back and would have made him earn the points the same way like the outsiders, he would have still made it, but he made earlier and easier than he deserved.

Not sure if I'm mis-understanding the title of this article but Isner won two ATP250 events last year and was a finalist in another. It is a fact though that the majority of the ranking points he has were gained in the US. He is making his Delray Beach debut this week.

Here is the link to the article in ATP official site, they have quoted it clearly as follows
The 11th-ranked Isner moved swiftly into the semi-finals, dismissing No. 8 seed Bernard Tomic 6-3, 6-2. The American converted four of his five break point opportunities against the 19-year-old Australian to claim victory in just 56 minutes. The two were meeting for first time.
Isner, making his debut at the ATP World Tour 250 event this week, is aiming to win his first title of the season.

He definitely has played 250s, I followed him last year.
He won 2 i think, one grass tournament just after Wimby was one of them.

Isner, making his debut at the ATP World Tour 250 event this week

It definately and very clearly refers to his debut at one specific ATP tournament not all of them. The key is in the word "the" in the sentence above. Sorry, but you've just misinterpreted. The whole article is based on your mistake unfortunately.
I do think the wild card system could do with a review though.
