I actually missed the heel run before he left. I saw him as a heel in Evolution and as the face not long after. I will have to say face on this one.

Heel based almost entirely on his final heel run before he left. Face Tista was good tho especially as he got put over at WM by Hunter in the biggest way possible

The best thing about his face run was the actual turn as Gregers mentioned above. Much better as a heel though.

His last heel run was immense and as with Gregers, almost entirely because of that I voted heel.

A very tough decison because he plays them both magnifcetnly well. But i voted for heel. Simply because of his final heel run in the wwe. Was fantastic from beating the hell out of Rey at Bragging Rights to his match with John Cena at WrestleMania. Batista would be 1 number one guy to return full time
