After watching the Rock and Cena's segment for the second time..
I'm still shocked at how Cena portrayed himself in what should have been a serious segment. Ok, it was Cena's home town and I can understand him trying to get any advantage over The Rock in terms of popularity, because I think he knows like the rest of us at Mania, it will be 100% pro Rock crowd and he's going to be booed out of the building from start to finish. But what The Rock must be thinking is how can he have been cutting promo's with the top guys in the industry for almost 8 years and he comes back to the top guy in WWE and he is presented with Cena's immaturity. He got in his face, Cena looked away and joked with the crowd. I loved it when the Rock was saying you strip it all away and he's a 6 ft 4 240lb MAN. Yet Cena was interrupting him in a childish way saying "What you got, what you got" you could see the Rock was getting frustrated with him, he even had to raise his voice to shut the guy up. The Rock summed it up perfectly and I think he was talking man to man when he said at your core, you will always be "A little boy" and that's exactly how he acted during the promo. The Rock must have been pacing back and forth when he went behind the curtain, and who can blame him. It really strikes me that I genuinely believe Cena just doesn't respect The Rock, as a wrestler or as a man. The Rock did so much for the WWE and Cena is just showing how far wrestling has fallen since the 90's and early 00's. Disgrace.

Whoa there with the ranting.
But I completely agree with you. It boggles the mind how little seriousness Cena affords Rock's promo, but does his empty arena nonsense trying to ape Steve Austin heading into WM17.

I refused to watch the arena segment, too cringe worthy, terrible acting. Yeh sorry for the rant, I had it recorded and I've watched it three times now and every time i'm like for god sake man grow up and cut a proper promo
