Who is your favourite pundit and why?
Mine are the Aussie Fox Sports trio of Greg Clark, Greg Martin and Phil Kearns or "Clarky, Marto and Kearnsy" as they inventively and imaginatively call themselves.
There's nothing I love more than being shaken out of my Saturday morning bleary eyed daze by these animated and vibrant characters whether it be the irrlevance and gloss of super rugby, or a tense tri-nations match.
There is seemingly no limit to their blatant parochialism and I find it massively refreshing that they can be so honest not just in the nationalistic excitement over anything vaguely decent performed by someone in a Wallaby shirt, in refuting any penalty against said Australian national team, campaigning vocally to have the set piece removed from rugby altogether, or the complete meltdown that ensues whenever New South Wales plays Brisbane.
Half of the things they say would invite a life time ban on 606v2 and I love that they are free to keep saying them. It's like a parody show and it definitely adds entertainment value during a Rebels v Cheetah's wooden spoon race.

Re: Who is your favourite pundit and why?
Thomas Castaignède for his wry humour.
Lols is pretty straight forward and and far better than who-ate-all-the-pies gusgutt.
but most entertaining goes to.....
Greenwood for his wild eyed enthusiasm and eye for the space runners and backs opportunities. He positively bounces around with schoolboy excitement but pairs it with his world class experience and eye for the running game.
Chairman Moore is brilliant too, but shouldn't be a pundit, but Chairman of the Referees Commission.

I also like Will Greenwood, he breaks things down very well with analysis and so on and has a lot of passion.

Conor O'Shea... no, I'm afraid I don't get Conor.
Thomas Castaignède, yes - smart and doesn't take himself so serious.
Davis - people love to hate him and that's part of the fun. If he was kicked off the BBC there would be outrage from those who now claim they want him kicked off the BBC
I like Pope because of all pundits I tend to agree with him most, both in what I've just seen and what might make it better.
But really, I don't need in-depth analysis. I try to do that myself with my own eyes - so when I listen to pundits I only want some lively debate to be entertained, not to be educated.

I like the enthusiasm of Quinnell & Greenwood, Ryan's technical analysis, but have most respect for the opinions of Lynagh.
