Your Wrestlemania match order?

Iv read a rumour online that vince is considering putting on Punk V Jercicho as the opening match at WM, with Taker v HHH halfway through the show and obviously Rock V Cena on last.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Not how it will happen but that is how it should be. The most important matches should be the ones for the two main belts.

Order should be

2. Randy Orton v Kane
3. Team Long v Team Laurinaitis
4. Divas match
5. Sheamus v Daniel Bryan
6. The Undertaker v Triple H
7. CM Punk v Chris Jericho
8. John Cena v The Rock

Order probably will be:

1. Sheamus v Daniel Bryan
2. Cody Rhodes v Big Show
3. Divas match
4. Randy Orton v Kane
5. Team Long v Team Laurinaitis
6. CM Punk v Chris Jericho
7. The Undertaker v Triple H
8. John Cena v The Rock

That is based on the WHC match between Del Rio and Edge being first last Mania. If Shaq gets involved in the Big Show match, I could see them swapping that order with the Orton v Kane match.

I think the top 3 matches could all swap round. It seems stupid to say, but I think (if something major was too happen....or at least try and seem as if it will), Taker v HHH could go last. Straight after Rock v Cena.

1. Orton v Kane - two big names to open the card will get people warmed up nicely
2. IC title Rhodes v Big Show - IC a mid card title so should be in the undercard
3. Team Long v Team Jonny - this match will need some time but is ultimately a gimmick match to get the mid carders on the card
4. WHC Bryan v Sheamus - of the two title matches this should take a secondary role as this is the SD title not Raw, which is still the flagship
5. HHH v Taker
6. Divas match - I suspect the HIAC match will be emotionally draining on the crowd and will need time to recover before anymore high profile/important matches take place.
7. WWE title Punk v Jericho - Punk has been the best thing about wrestling and is definitely the trail blazer of a new breed of main eventers so should be very high up the card.
8. Rock v Cena - this is the closest thing the WWE can get to a superfight so regardless of whether it is for the WWE title or not should headline.

Punk/Jericho, HHH/Taker & Rock/Cena HAVE to be the last three matches. Probably in that order.

You cant put any of them on early or mid card then expect a filler match to follow it. The crowd will be dead. I always remember Triple H saying how amazing the HBK/Taker match was at Mania25 was and the guys in the back said to him and Orton 'Right, go and follow that' and how he knew they didnt stand a chance. Low and behold HHH/Orton stunk and the crowd were flat.

1. HHH v Undertaker - Seeing as the Hell in a Cell could be awkward to have hanging above the ring all night, have it in the ring at the start and then take it away when done.

The tricky bit for me is whether to put Cena-Rock or HHH-Taker on last. I mean obviously Cena vs Rock is massive, possibly the biggest match of all time...but I think HHH-Taker will drain the crowd more. The crowd will be massively anti-Cena pro-Rock, but I'm guessing it'll be fairly mixed when it comes to getting behind either Taker or HHH...then add in Shawn Michaels and it gets even more emotional.

Anyways, my match order would be:

1. Randy vs Kane - I'd actually like to see Kane go over and have one last run chasing the strap
2. Team Long vs Team Ace - Johnny L is hilariously bad on the mic, and I want to see more of that just so CM Punk can rip into him a bit more.
3. Divas - Don't care, pee break.
4. Cody vs Show - Cody please. It just makes sense.
5. Bryan vs Sheamus - Tricky one, Bryan is on a pretty good roll at the minute but I agree with Booker T, I think Sheamus is the hottest commodity on Smackdown at present.
6. Punk vs Jericho - I'm a Jericho mark, plus I see legs in this feud, so I'm going with Jericho then Punk chases the strap all the way to Summerslam when he gets it back.
7. + 8. Either of the two mentioned above. HHH-Taker: I'm going for Taker. HHH doesn't have anything to gain from taking the streak and I think WWE will realise this and keep it intact, if only for a limited edition 20-0 DVD release.
Cena vs Rock: I admit it, I'm a Cena fan. I think Rock should do what Hogan did for him, do the job to the younger man. Would love to see a Cena heel turn though.

Rock v Cena in Miami will without a shadow of a doubt 100% be the last match. You can bet your house on that.

Sorry, I should have made it more clear. I know that it WILL be the last match, I'm saying if I was booking the card it'd be a tricky one from a "which will drain the crowd more" point of view.

I think if there is any match that could follow the streak, it is Cena/Rock, but especially in Miami! There is no chance the crowd will drop for that one, so to have them back to back to end the show makes sense to me.

I know Teddy likes a tag match but he's pushing it by being on both teams....

I also read on Wrestlezone that the plan is apparently is for Punk Jericho to open the show, Taker Triple H to be in the middle and Cena Rock to finish. Also each of these matches is planned to each have a 25-30 minute time slot, and that there is a good chance there will only be the 7 matches announced on the card, with the divas match being the dark match. Since creative think no one cares for a divas match.

Aren't you supposed to space them out so that the crowd isn't tired or whatever?

5) HHH Vs Undertaker - This is going to kill the crowd for whatever follows.
6) Divas Match - Let the crowd cool off and recover their voices.
7) Jericho Vs CM Punk - Let them try and steal the show right before the Main.
8) Cena Vs The Rock - Biggest matchup in recent memory.
