First Boxing Class
Alright boys,
Got my first boxing class tonight- as 24, 6'5 and 260lbs I expect to be a super heavy weight haha (I do like the sound of that). I'm fast for my size and regularly run and lift weights although I know this is going to be HARD having used a bag in the past.
If you could give me one piece of advice tonight what would it be??

Hi, EoE.
Quite simply, listen to your trainer, ask if you're unsure, hands up/chin down.
You'll love it, great fun.

Get in the ring ASAP.
Don't dally about, see if its for you. Countless people train and learn and then in their first fight, they freeze and won't go in. See if its for you first.

The chances are the first thing the coach/coaches will do, other than tell you to stick your hands up, is start grilling you on footwork and stance. It's not the most exciting part of boxing but it is a fundamental so try and take that in. It's also something you can practice on your own inbetween lessons

Alright FoF?
Yea I thought I'd give this ago- the cut after new year was epic. Lost 25lbs of fat in 2 months and I packed on about half a stone of muscle and never felt better.
Training down at Rooney's in London so I'm pretty excited to see what it will be like.
Tempted to have a go at the White Collar League but will see how I fair tonight...I expect to be gassed as through American Football I know how tiring feetwork can be!

Location : Your knuckles whiten on the wheel. The last thing that Julius will feel, your final flight can't be delayed. No earth just sky it's so serene, your pink fat lips let go a scream. You fry and melt, I love the scene.
