Sorry NITB, for some reason I thought it was you. You were also right about Isner, the man is acquitting himself nicely. Roland Garros last year, DC this year and now this, not shabby. Also, he is now more than just serve, although without it he still would not be anywhere near where he is now.

and remember also Novak needed 5 sets to come through against Isner in DC 2010

Wel done Mano for providing a fair poll. I voted for Fed in 2 though I am surprised by how well Fed played under crazy conditions. Nadal tried to hit the ball early but made tons of UEs.

Hitting early after the bounce requires special talent, especially under those windy conditions.

MY poll was fair enough given how much false hope Fed gives his fans, in fact it was probably a good thing, it makes Fed's victory all the more sweeter for me.

How does it feel to have your parade rained on after your guy wins, kind of like what you guys did to me after Novak won the AO. The game sucks, the match is boring, Novak only wins because of slow conditions.

Woke up this morning with the sweetest news possible. Well done Roger and Rafa. Let the rivalry continue. Now time to scour the YouTube for footage. Thanks everyone for contributing to my first ever OP on this forum.
