Great session this afternoon between O'Sullivan and Williams. I hope Williams wins but Ronnie seems in the better form. Mark just missing a few to many pots (some not hard) for my liking.

Ryan is through!!!!! Plays Matty Stevens or Barry Hawkins in the next round. I think Matthew can reach the semis. His quarter is very nice but Ryan will be no pushover. Neither will Barry but I think Matthew will win that.

Yes it might be that. The press seem to jump on the bandwagon and tip him to win absolutely everything. I thought it was completely disrespectful when they said "Can you win the Triple Crown?" at the Masters after he won the UKC and didn't ask Higgins that question last year after he won the UKC.

Plus all the Ronnie fanboys will follow him when their icon retires.

If Ali Carter continues playing the same way that he did V Judd Trump then he could go all the way to the final where he is likely to play Ronnie O'Sullivan in a repeat of their 2008 World Final where O'Sullivan won easily.

Likely to play Ronnie? Ronnie has to get past MJW and Robbo first of all and that's unlikely.

Matthew Stevens in full flow is a joy to watch. Haven't seen him play like this in years.

I have never understood why people automatically place O'Sullivan in the final and only discuss who he will be playing. Its been a while since Ronnie has been up there as a favourite in a tournement.

Ronnie will go to the semi at least- he is playing very well and looks like he is interested this week(the only think he needs to beat almost anyone)

i cant see past trump or ronnie this year- the only other player i feel has a shot is hendry or robertson. but id have the first up as much stronger favs due to it being long formats, and even if they are only 90% they will beat anyone else in a canter..

Winner of the MJW v Ronnie match plays Robbo. If Ronnie fails to repeat today's performance he will be destroyed. I've never seen Robbo had a bad day.
