Ronnie O'Sullivan is too good a player to lose 13-4 to Neil Robertson. It is likely to be a 13-4 scoreline to Ronnie.

Neither player will be beaten 13-4 you'd imagine (although Robbo is playing superbly)

Maguire is really cruising through this. Hendry will be lucky if he is only 7-1 down

No one makes a fool out of John Higgins. No one.

I imagine that Hendry will be shell shocked from this. He would have expected to be a lot closer than this. Cant see a way back from this to be honest.

On the other table, Stevens is also in a bit of trouble against Day... 5-2 down.

Ryan Day has played brilliantly. Really delighted to see Ryan back to form. It's been a long time coming. I just hope he can push on after this.

A few years ago i thought that he had the quality to be a World Champion. With the way the draw is going, who is to say that this wont be his year...

Stevens gets it back to 5-3

He has no right to be at 5-3 as Ryan Day has been all over him but if he's playing poorly and still in touch it's great match play. Was very impressed with Maguire's match play too today.

Neither Day or Stevens have any chance this year of even getting to the World Final as both are in the same half of the draw as Ronnie O'Sullivan and Neil Robertson. The World Final this year looks likely to be between Stephen Maguire and Ronnie O'Sullivan with O'Sullivan winning easily 18-10/18-12.

Who is this Ronnie O'Sullivan chap that you mention. I have never heard you mention him before. Is he a decent snooker player?

Can't be billy as he couldn't even beat John Higgins last year who was just finding his way back into the sport after a lengthy ban.

Any predictions as to how much Ronnie will squash Robbo?

Robbo is the type of player that will frustrate Ronnie big time

Robbo marches back into a 3-2 lead.

His safety play has improved so much over the years and that's what's making him dangerous. The potting ability is there, he has the safety game and he's got another 2 WC's in him (Robbo, not Ronnie).

Standard has been good this year.

I've noticed 2 things here.

1) Do you think Neil is slowing things down just a little bit?

2) Do you think Stephen Hendry is playing much slower than he used to?

that was superb from Ronnie, had to work very hard for that break, but made it look easy. Shaping up to be a classic this one

Selby complained about slow play? I like Mark, he's a great player but he does take his time.
