6WF
- Spoiler:
Good afternoon lads and ladies
I'm Mat and I run 6WF, a fictional E-fed set on this site. 6WF started off on the old 606 wrestling board and has been running for 5 years now.
The idea behind an E-fed is pretty simple, you create a character and then promo as your character against a wide-range of weird and wonderful opponents and promoers that we already have in 6WF. 6WF has one weekly show, Lockdown, which is on a Thursday and we have a Pay Per View show every month, with Born In Fire in November being our Wrestlemania. You will see your character entering into storylines given to you by the commissioner(That would be me) and watch as he develops from curtain-jerking to Main Event, feel the pride as your character wins his first match or his first title.
Not only is 6WF great for getting your creative juices flowing, it is also a fantastic chance to enjoy some friendly(for the most part) banter and general chat on Trash Talk with the rest of the lads involved. Got you interested?
Go here; https://www.606v2.com/t26454-6wf-generic-chat and the lads will all be willing to help. Once you've done that, all you will need to do is fill out the character sheet and post-it and you can start promoing.
Thanks for taking time to read this.
Re: 6WF
It is great fun if you give it a go, I knew nothing about wrestling really when I started, Just what I remembered from being a kid, but I can write (a bit) and my mate convinced me to at least make a character, that character was ok, but with the help of members of trash talk and Mat it evolved into what he is now.
So yeah have a go it's fun, especially if you get a good 'Back and forth' promo going.

Re: 6WF
It's well worth looking into if you enjoy creative writing or you just wanna create a wacky character to have a laugh with.

Is there a lot of work involved? I have WWA and EuroDivision to do during the week, but I have always fancied joining. There is no point if I can't didicate time to it though

There's a week's promo time from when show's are posted, and that's all you have to do, promo. You can promo as much as you like during the week, for me I only normally post one promo a week unless I'm involved in a back and forth with someone, but you can organise that for when both of you have the time. All the hard work is at my end!

I am that anyway. I am a singstar hustler.
Anyway....I have a character in mind (and it in mind for ages). Just want to know what is expected of me each week.

Re: 6WF
Twist,
If you can think of a character, the bare minimum is a promo a week, which works out alot less than a WWA show. If you can spare the time, back and forths are a good way to adapt, but they can take place of the course of a week.
Might be worth checking out a few of the old cards and seeing what the jist of things are?

Re: 6WF
Ok Mat/KB, will have a think.
My character could be mute I suppose, and only communicate in hand gestures. Result......a promo full of smilies.

Though I'm still thought of as one of 6WF's best promoers even when I don't promo in it.

Re: 6WF
I found the word doc that I wrote ages ago for this. I only got a few bits down.
Name: Vincent Grimes
Ring Name: VorteX (or V-X)
Finishing move: V-X Bomb (Spinning TKO)
Submission move: V-X Nerve Gas (V-X stands with back to opponent with opponent kneeling. V-X takes both opponents wrists in each hand and pulls opponent into his behind, while twisting opponents wrists back)
Signature move: Winds of Change (Running Butt Bump with a side of guff)
Entrance: V-X pops up through the aisle floor with green smoke around him (think the Broods entrance)
Make-Up: Vincent was a test subject for a new flatulent pill that went horribly wrong. Hence his wind problems now. He aims to kick up a stink in 6WF

Ok, well being serious a minute (it hurts), I will mull it over tonight. Don't want to join something else and then not be able to compete (for whatever reason) because of outisde activities.....
Like Chopper riding
It was bad enough missing WWA tactics this week
Not due to chopper riding.
