Do we want International transfer fee's set up by the IRB....?
A little too late as Wales gave already lost ten or do players to foreign clubs the last twelve months but a great initiative.

The fees haven't been set up, the IRB have just set up a group to investigate the possibility.
I don't see it making much difference to the top tier unions, but it would be a boost for some of the poorer unions like the PI nations.

Any attempt to introduce a transfer fee for players out of contract and moving between EU countries would soon fall foul of the law.

The current system in Wales is not working, did they say last night it was Roberts first start for the Blues? Not bad money if you can get it including the Wales and Grand Slam payments.

Ideal time for WRU to start dishing out central contracts to the top players it seems. They should have planned to do it this season right from the start IMO.
To answer the OP, from a Welsh perspective good god yes. Dirty French vultures.
