Alan Knill
I really hope he doesn't go and finishes the job this season and leads us to promotion. If he goes then I cant blame him and I think he would leave with most Bury fans blessing. He became manager when we were a team struggling in the division and has led us to the brink of promotion in the last 3 seasons. We have just always fallen that little bit short, we have played the best football seen in a long time at Gigg Lane this year and even though we seem to be having a blip at the minute I hope we turn that round at the weekend

Well thats that. Knill has gone to Scunthorpe. I dont think this would be so bad if he hadnt also taken Chris Brass and Neil Cutler with him. The question now is, who do we bring in now?

Re: Alan Knill
I would hate Ronnie Moore, his teams play long ball and are just big and strong, the rumour is it will be Ian Dowie, not sure whether that would be much better to be honest!

Re: Alan Knill
Phil Parkinson is out of a job and is an ex Bury player so I think this might be the most plausible, just hope it doesnt knock our promotion hopes. I wouldnt mind Andy Scott or Danny Wilson either. I dont think we could afford Wilson though.

Bury should be brave, and recruit Saint Jim Gannon of Stockport. Your chairman will need true balls to do it, and it will upset a lot of people, but it'll be a superb appointment.
