First topic message reminder :

For those who like the transfer elements of these fantasy games I thought it might be possible to have a game purely based on transfers.

Basically, there will be real life teams randomly assigned to whoever takes part with a starting budget. You have 1 & half weeks of transfers (domestic & foreign) then the transfer window is closed.

Foreign transfers are first come first serve with prices based as per transfermarket with a maximum of 2 foreign transfers allowed per player per day

Team sheets are posted on a thread and everyone votes on who they think has improved their team the best in order from best to worst.

The votes are tallied, put into a table then we start again with fresh teams and so on.

The teams will be different each time we restart and will include clubs from all over the world, together with a couple of international rounds.

yes, but a max of 2 per day. But dont forget about domestic transfers.
The key to the game is to improve your starting 11 and voting is based on the best improvements.

Next round im thinking of having international teams to go the extreme of what we started with then champions league teams after that. Everyone ok with that?

how would international teams work? Could it only be players from the country surely?

Starting teams are based on players playing for their country, but then obviously transfers. The game is based on transfers, so the key is to improve your original starting 11 & subs.

The international teams are just a starting base to work on with.

For players with no value on transfermarkt I would say £150k each to release them.

So what are the votes judged on? How much the team has improved or how good it is?

Both really. Everyone lists their original starting 11 & subs and what their new starting 11 & subs are. But its really down to personal opinion on voting on who has does the best job.

There could be teams signing star players, but if they are lacking in 2 or 3 positions then the person who improves every position with a better player could get more votes. (if that makes sense)

That's what I am doing. Trying to improve the team rather than just one or two big names.
