Golf live 2012
i went last year to this event at the london Golf Club with my missus and it was great.
Some kind soul gave me a link for free tickets last year via sky, but on the sky website they have only got BOGOF tickets (sky rewards)
There have been various promo codes banded about the net but they have all expired.
has anyone got any advice to save me a bit of cash?
Regards
tarka

I applied for the free tickets as well but I've also spent £40 purchasing a main theatre entrance upgrade. I am looking forward to the event, remains to be seen if that was money well spent!

Blue,
I just ordered a playing ticket for 40 quid, fancy a few holes!
Might have to take my own 3 wood as i can't hit driver at the moment; that would be a bit sad walking about the place with a club in my hand though

Re: Golf live 2012
I picked up a couple of "free" tickets for this event a while back, but note from the small print on mine that there's a £10 parking charge (per vehicle). Made me wonder if there will be a bunch of other backdoor costs which effectively recoup the cost of a full price ticket (especially in light of numerous e-mails subsequently asking me if I wanted to upgrade my tickets). Not sure now if I'll be available to attend anyway.

Re: Golf live 2012
It was well worth it last year, went with my girlfriend, walked out with 6 pro v1 for free, a few srixon balls, tees, ball markers, entered loads of free comps, met monty and darren Clarke; got them all to sign a replica open championship flag i bough for a fiver beforehand and it is now framed on the wall, looks great.
The parking was free last year I think but a tenner for the car is not too bad as the tickets were free. You can try all the new gear and watch the pros giving lessons on bunker play etc and there was ample room to see. I bought a pint and I think it was about 3.50 whick ain't too bad. My girlfriend enjoyed it so much that i didn't have to twist her arm to much to go which was surprising especially as she doesn't play but loves collecting me bags of free gear!

Anyone know if Casey has pulled out of this event?
May have an influence on my (in)decision as to whether to take the day off on Friday or not!
