"1-3 (Toulalan; Dempsey x3)"

Draws and 1 goal wins each way, then this vote where my holding midfielder scores and the guy who was tracked throughout by my DM's gets a hat trick costs me.

Whoever did the vote, next time can you actually read the tactics?

Dempsey has a bit of form but I virtually double marked him.

If I felt Twist had won fairly I'd congratulate him but it was a nailed on draw and now I just feel annoyed I'm out of the title race unjustly.

That's how I felt after I drew with Bull despite winning 4 matches (before 3 goal rule came in). Just gotta move onwards and upwards, at least you are in the top 4 and in the BIG leagues next season Wink

To be fair though, you did send 2 DMs to mark Dempsey (who was on the wing). That left you horribly exposed in the middle against Khedira and Vidal + others.

I see your point, but if the goals came from Vidal/Khedira who was running in unmarked because you had no tactics for them, would you still be peed off? If anything, having both your CDM's looking to mark a right midfielder, would have opened you up straight down the middle for my box-to-boxers to exploit.

I thought it would be a draw too, tbh. But having read the tactics, you were open in the middle mate.

Then Dempsey x3 wouldn't apply.

Never mind. Its like pissing in the wind sometimes in this league.

It's the same in any league, look at what occurred in your 2012 one with my tactics v Tooze, I should have absolutely walked that game on tactics but I was getting results such 3-1 against.

I know Hero. Just frustrating that one rogue vote has ruled me out of the title race.

Twist can try and justify it but it was a draw every day of the week. Not even being biased and claiming a win, it was a draw and I feel ripped off.

Little bit disrespectful to me Marky. I haven't read your tactics until just now and to be honest I think I deserve that win. Both your CDM was concentrating on a player I have only ever played on the right of midfield. It would have left things so open.

As mentioned a few days ago there would be a penalty to those that failed to vote on the games which shall be an extra random 1st team injury for next week.

It takes next to no time to vote guys and as shown when there are a lot less votes then one vote shall result in a big swing so please ensure that you do get your votes in from now on.

AC ALSOAM v Real Ale

It's tough to call, Real Ale have a stronger midfield and one looking to get in the box and create problems. ALSOAM may miss Badstuber today and Metzelder will be tested by the pace of Vidal or Khedira but they are defensive enough and match up well enough formation against formation so I can see them soaking pressure and springing a counter for a goal. Real Ale will get one too though, nailed on draw.

2 good teams but I feel AC would do just enough to edge it

I think with the DMs marking Dempsey on the wing it leaves them horribly open in the middle of the park that the Real Ale midfielders can expose, especially as they are very classy. In fairness to Marky, maybe the goals shouldn't go to Dempsey but Real Ale are worth at least 3 goals regardless of who scored them.

Viva City v Treble's Revenge

Very tight game with both sides utilising very strong spines. They match up well formation-wise so I think a single goal either way nicks it, and it's likely to be Huntelaar with a 25 yarder. The rest of the game will be attritional with neither side having clear cut chances.

2 similar strength teams with similar ideas

Both teams look to be pretty equal on paper and formation wise, I can see this game being a really dire 0-0 draw. Perhaps Viva's team is slightly better but it would be harsh on trebs and a draw is a fair reflection.

Kunning Kumquats v GAP

Canaries are much improved and I would possibly have gone with a win for them barring their fullbacks being exploitable. If they can upgrade in that area I think they will become a very challenging team to play. Good side from Pigeons, only area perhaps lacking is goalscorers.

it really is hard to seperate these 2, I think if Russell was here from the beggining he would have taken the win

As soon as it left his foot I knew it was in, great vision and execution. Ward's schoolboy defending helped as well of course

To be honest, I'd do them but I'd rather wait until League B got lawyers offers first this week.
