The ranking points are the killer. Until they get it right players will be blackmailed into playing nearly every tournament. Mark Selby played over 100 matches by the time he reached Sheffield last year.

No bret. In my opinion he MUST win three of the last four frames. Anything less will leave him too big a mountain to climb.

I would say minimum 3-1 mini session to Stevens is needed myself bret. 4 frames down going into the last session will be way too much.

At least there will be a final session.

I dont know, even at 14-10, he would have to make a great start tonight otherwise it would be game over and get the first 2 frames, 14-12 anything can happen.

Yes but this morning is almost a dress rehearsal. Stevens had to get some momentum going and keep it going. If he can't do it this morning what makes you think he can do it this evening?

Agree Bret, Virgo and the rest swoon over Ronnie and are very dismissive of the other players. Can be annoying sometimes.

That was one of the best breaks i have seen, even thought it was only 38, it was quality how Ronnie kept it going.
