Mike Rayer.
Best Cardiff full back as voted for in 2008 when Cardiff Blues left the Arms Park. I voted for Ben Blair.

Biggest debate will be whether the Premiership allow any team from the championship to actually be promoted?
London welsh, Cornish pirates and a few others are likely to stop wasps or Newcastle going down due to not meeting premiership requirements.

I thought only Bristol and Leeds met the criteria to be promoted?

Both Jones and Rayer are being wasted in the English system, get them back into our Regions ASAP.

Interestingly. Bedford had a fair few Sarries players on loan during the Play-offs. these players did not play last night.

Would love to see the exiles in the premiership, both Scottish And Welsh. There should be sooner short of help for smaller clubs to meet the criteria

maestegmafia,
I don't know if London Welsh have a plan to meet promotion requirements, but I hope they do. Perhaps a groundshare somewhere? They currently play in a great area, but might be in direct competition with Harlequins.

I think they might have a groundshare agreed with Brentford, but I'm not certain. It's a shame - ODP is a lovely place to watch rugby.
Also I think the last thing the AP needs is a 5th London side, but if they get promoted they'll deserve it.

Re: Bedford Blues 3-13 London Welsh
Dave,
I agree about having a 5th 'London' side. But, to be fair, neither Wasps nor 'London' Irish play in/near London.
That said, I would absolutely prefer some real distribution around the country.

I think Wasps will be heading back.
If I were centrally planning this I'd want Leeds back.

Just go regional rather than club.
The premiership is pretty well ring fenced considering the criteria for promotion is not just rightful qualification.
