Batista Return - my speculation

Can anyone see Batista returning shortly to join the HHH, Cena, Laurenitis, Tensai, Brock, Heyman feud?

It would seem ideal to bring Batista back now as support for HHH and Cena against the others possibly setting up a 3 on 3 feud?

Take the overwhelming response as no?

I don't think they need Batista to return, which generally means they won't bother. To make this a classic he would be a great addition, but you worry whether the extra money and risk involved is just too much for them to gamble on. I'm sure Clay and Tensai are being lined up for bigger roles soon, whilst Bryan and Sheamus could find themselves in the mix. They could probably keep this going till survivor series for a big tag match if creative keep their heads.

While HHH and Batista have been shown on screen to work together beyond the initial destruction of Evolution, it wouldn't make sense for Batista to come in on Cena's side seeing as it was Cena that caused him to leave. (Though knowing the WWE this fact would be conveniently forgotten).

Johnny Ace bringing in Batista to battle Cena makes perfect sense, and even better would be the resulting tension between Brock and Batista over Alpha Male status.

I can see Batista coming abck eventually, but not right now. After all, Rocky is still waiting in the wings for his "Title" run and there seems to be a slew of new talent waiting to break through and end the Cena/Orton era of mediocrity.

I don't think they need him right now, and adding him to the Laurinitas storyline would only make it more confusing, they need to keep it to the core group of people rather than adding more stars to the group and hoping that will make it a success. That strategy has never worked.

Batista has taken far too many pot shots at the WWE in recent months that i don't think he has a tenable position within the company.

I wouldn't see that being too big a problem. You can never truly trust the intention of such comments, plus the door is pretty much always open for talent that the company wants

I think bringing back another ex star is a great idea and put them in a faction/ stable.

They could call it the Main Event Triads or something of that ilk

I think maybe that is what he is getting at - it would be WWE using an idea TNA used. And TNA were roundly criticised for it.

I don't think they need Batista right now. I think they'll need him in a year when Brock is gone and probably The Rock too. If they haven't made any new stars by then, then get the help back in!

I would love to see him return but not right now.

WWE are doing ever so well at the moment. I really am intrested to see how they are going to drag this storyline out and they dont need anyone in to add to the storyline (expect from Kevin Nash he makes any storyline )

I would bring him back after mania next year or possiably in January before Mania.

hasn't Batista been hinting on twitter recently that he has a "big announcement" that he will be making soon.

wouldn't surprise me if he does return, his MMA career hasn't taken off to well.

Sometime in the future Batista could come back as a face and challenge Brock Lesnar. I think they would have a great rivalry.

Batista left because he didnt like the PG era and the direction of the company. If the product continues to be edgier and they loosen the shackles on the whole PG thing i think Batista would return for the right price on a short term deal. Everyone comes back for the right price- See Brock Lesnar.

I dont think he'd return in the current angle though.

It would be good for him to return but another part timer in is potentially another youngster out.

I don't think he left WWE on great terms and I also remember seeing a picture of Batista a while back after he left and he trained hard for MMA but he lost a lot of weight, hardly an "animal".

Anyway he is settled making films why would he move? Money?

I'd love it if they do what they did with 'Taker/HHH last year. the Undertaker returns, gets to the ring, then Hunter returns too!!

They could have Brock come back, get to the ring, grabs a microphone, then Batista's music hits

With the Bella's having left WWE now is the perfect time to bring back Batista to do the twin gimmick with Mason Ryan. Sign Rob Terry and get him to dye his hair and they'd have a triplet gimmick.
