Round 38 predictions. The finale!
Is it me or has this season flown by? Anyway I just wondered what everybody was expecting to see on the final day of the season.
I think I speak for almost everybody when I say the title is heading to the Etihad but could there be a few twists on the way? Can Mark Hughes get revenge on the club that sacked him by holding them and handing the title to his other former Manchester club?
Are we wrongly dismissing Sunderland ahead of the Utd game? Or is Utd's match a gimme?
Who'll finish in the Champions League places? Can Newcastle do the unimaginable and cement a spot in next years competition? On paper Arsenal should beat West Brom but who knows what Arsenal will turn up?
Spurs should beat Fulham shouldn't they?
And can Bolton get out of jail at the Brittania Stadium and seal another season in the PL?
My predictions for sunday:
Man City 3 QPR 1
Sunderland 2 Man Utd 2
Spurs 3 Fulham 1
West Brom 0 Arsenal 0
Everton 2 Newcastle 1
Stoke 2 Bolton 0
Swansea 1 Liverpool 1
Norwich 2 A Villa 0
Wigan 3 Wolves 2
Chelsea 3 Blackburn 0
Which would mean City winning the title by two points. Spurs finishing third and Arsenal finishing fourth relying on a Bayern victory in the CL final.
And Bolton joining Wolves and Blackburn in the Championship next season.
Over to you. Cheers guys.

The question is can Bolton win? If they do surely QPR would go down at the Etihad. Having seen their euphoric celebrations against Stoke last week it would be ironic if Stoke were to then oblige Bolton in their hour of need. Stoke really don't have much to play for unlike Bolton so could a shock result could be on the cards?
Spurs might find Fulham a tricky proposition and with Arsenal looking like they have forgotten how to win all of a sudden Newcastle still have a lot to play for. Unfortunately for us though Everton will be a tough proposition and a point won't do. Here's hoping though!

Re: Round 38 predictions. The finale!
as a united fan im expecting city to do it easily, if they get one early could well be like the chelsea v wigan game few years back. just cant see how they will lose, perhaps red card. im going for 5-0, expect the shackles to come loose when they get there first. think the city game might influence the united game, if united get wind can see us failing to win. but will go a poor game with us winning two nil.
can see bolton getting at least a point if they win they will stay up. goal difference this season is going to be such a massive difference with city winning the league and teams like villa knowing there safe purely because of it
