Limited Edition Scotty's
When you buy a Ltd Edition Scotty Cameron does it come with an authentification certificate? The reason I ask is because, I spent a shed load last week for a new putter for Mrs Doc. It arrived this morning but not opened it yet as she'll be the one unwrapping tonight. Buying anything on line has risks, even though you do as much research as possible beforehand. So has anyone any ideas to what I should find inside the package.

I don't believe this come with an authentication certificate unless it's been done by whoever sold it to you. so don't expect anything other than the putter and the headcover (in a bag inside the box).

Thanks for that Mr Lime No it won't, it will probably be going on ebay in a few months, especially after the 2012 release of the same name comes out. Couldn't believe some of the prices, there was one for the 2008 version going for £8.9k!!! and plenty of this version going for over a grand!!!! Didn't realise the amount of business being done for his Ltd Edition kit.
Looking on the Scotty site you can see all his different Ltd Editions, but you can't buy them on there, as it seems like a few dealers get their hands on them first and then do a roaring trade selling them to Joe Public, which doesn't seem right.

They are expensive... but don't think those are his most sought after items.
Look at this
http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A2%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A4973&rt=nc&_nkw=cameron+gss&_dmpt=Golf_Clubs&_sticky=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_sop=16&_sc=1
Or this

8.9k for a My Girl is way overpriced by the way. 600 quid is about the going rate.
Buttonbacks are also rare. As are Newport Beach models.
