Leinster or Ulster?
For the Neutrals!
For all the non Leinster and Ulster fans out there who will be watching the final of the Heiniken Cup next weekend - who would you like to see win it and why?
I would like to see Ulster win it, but my prediction is Leinster will win a very close game!

As a Munster fan, i have gone for Ulster. Not because i want Leinster to lose but because i have enjoyed watching Ulster this season.

I'v went Ulster because some of Ruan Pienaar's performances have earned them this trophy alone. Treblance to be man of match as well

Went for Ulster, not sure why.
Brad Thorne's trophy cabinet must be pretty impressive by now. Nearly rivaling Dalaglio's.

Dont think Dalaglio would have:
A Super xiv winners medal,
or a Rugby League World cup winners medal,
or etc etc.

Re: For the Neutrals!
Laurie, what about Jared Payne, John Afoa and the incoming Mark Anscombe?
Nah, thats a valid reason to be fair. Brad Thorn is a legend and a Heineken Cup winners medal would be a fitting end to his career. BUT- we can say the same thing about Stefan Terblanche.
The Heineken Cup final- where SH legends go to retire

Yep. Poor guy has been injured all this time. Recovery is apparently going well though; I believe he's within two or three weeks of being back to match fitness now. So it's a shame the NH club season ends next weekend

Don't think Terblanche won the S14, I know Sharks were runner-up one year when Muller was Captain but I don't think he's won it either.

Re: For the Neutrals!
I will be supporting Ullster in this one.
They are uinderdogs, which is something I like.
Plus there are a lot of good human interest stories throughout the squad.
Finally, I have a pretty good idea what a Heineken Cup win would do for the community. Would be huge.

I have gone for Ulster as a token of respect to the nine counties representing a non-sectarian Irish unit working together.

Re: For the Neutrals!
I went for 'I don't mind', I thought Ulster weren't a great watch in the semi final and ended up supporting Edinburgh as they were playing the better stuff. The whole Ferris/Hartley thing soured my view of the Ulster blindside as well. Leinster play very attractive rugby but if they win then they'll become the second team to win back to back HECs and I'd prefer Tigers to maintain that record.
Ben Kay's? RWC Winners and Runners up medals, HEC winners medals x2 and runners up medal, at least 6 probably more AP winners medals and an LV Cup winners medal as well as the triple crown and grandslam 6N medals. I suppose he does lack the 7s medal though.

Payne has been training in since mid April.
