Raw results
Last night’s WWE Raw SuperShow results from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.
Triple H is walking backstage with his arm in a brace and he walks into John Laurinaitis. The Raw General Manager tells him that he didn’t know Lesnar was going to attack him a fortnight ago and says that it was painful to watch Lesnar beat HHH up, humiliate him and break his arm. Laurinaitis says Triple H has his support and sympathy. Triple H just stares down at Laurinaitis and says he is about to tell the whole world how he feels and wishes Johnny Ace luck in his match with John Cena on Sunday.
HHH comes to the ring and says he is not concerned over his physical injuries sustained in Lesnar’s attack but he is offended by Lesnar’s remarks about bringing back legitimacy to the company. Triple H says the day before Lesnar returned he was standing toe-to-toe with The Undertaker and that Lesnar’s arrogance not only offends him but also the likes of Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Bob Backlund, Bruno Sammartino and every other wrestler who has ever walked down that isle.
HHH says he was slightly embarrassed to initially buy into the Lesnar crap but that he soon found out Brock was a quitter. He quit when he just started to be challenged in the WWE, he quit when winning wasn’t so easy. He quit UFC after he got his ass kicked just a bit. He says Lesnar quit WWE when he failed to beat John Cena.
Finally Lesnar quit when his contract demands weren’t met. Lesnar’s music interrupts and Paul Heyman comes out along with a lawyer.
Heyman says Lesnar’s contract agreement is an open and shut case. His client entered into an agreement with John Laurinaitis on live TV and HHH tearing it up was a breach of contract. Heyman said Triple H brought a fighter into the entertainment company and didn’t like it when Lesnar wanted to fight. The lawyer serves Triple H the lawsuit papers and Heyman explains that Lesnar is suing the WWE for the millions of dollars they owe to him. Heyman says that Lesnar was disappointed on a personal level because he expected much more from HHH than the sniffling, conniving, corporate ant that hasn’t lived up to the hype that has surrounded him.
Triple H then grabs Heyman by the neck and backs him against the ropes. As HHH leaves, Heyman says he just screwed up yet again and now has another lawsuit to answer for, assault and battery. Heyman says he will see Triple H in court!
Footage plays of Big Show mocking John Laurinaitis last week. Announcers reveal that if Show doesn’t apologise tonight, he will be fired.
1) CM Punk & Santino Marella defeated Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes when Punk hits the GTS on Rhodes.
2) Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox with the Glam Slam. WWE Divas Champion Layla was watching on the stage.
Post-match, Layla runs down to make the save for Alicia when Beth was about to beat her down. Layla face plants Beth and sends her out of the ring.
Kane vs Zack Ryder is announced for the WWE Over The Limit pay-per-view pre-show on Sunday.
3) Kane defeated Big Show when Laurinaitis distracted Show asking for an apology on the mic and Kane chokeslammed Show for the pinfall.
John Laurinatis enters the ring and tells Show to get up and face him. Laurinaitis reminds Show that he is the boss here and that he shouldn’t make fun of him. He demands an apology.
Show says he has been thinking about what he should say to Laurinaitis today. He says he has done it all in his career and can walk away now happy but he still loves what he does and loves waking up to perform for the WWE fans. Show begins to cry and the crowd chant in support. Show apologises twice for his actions.
Laurinaitis says that isn’t enough and he should get down on his knees and beg for his job. Show hesitates but he does it and begs for his job. Laurinaitis fires Big Show, who keeps balling his eyes out and apologising but Johnny has made his decision and the Big Show is gone.
4) Brodus Clay, R-Truth & Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger when Clay hits the big splash on The Miz.
Abraham Washington, Mason Ryan, Primo, Epico & Rosa Mendes were watching at ringside.
Alex Riley is backstage walking with CM Punk when AJ Lee walks up. She wishes Punk luck for Sunday. Punk says he isn’t interested in getting involved with her and Daniel Bryan because he doesn’t need the drama.
5) Chris Jericho defeated Randy Orton by DQ when Sheamus attacked Jericho.
John Laurinatis comes to the ring by himself and says John Cena is a loser. He will prove this at WWE Over The Limit and after a while John Cena’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. Cena runs down Laurinaitis’ failures and calls him a loser.
Eventually Eve Torres whispers in Johnny’s ear that the Board has decided their match at WWE Over The Limit will be a singles bout, with no special guest referee and if anyone is to interfere, they will be fired. Add to that, if John Laurinaitis loses the match, he will also be fired.
Cena’s music his and Laurinaitis just smacks him and leaves the ring as RAW goes off the air.

Another Big Show heel turn?
My money is on him helping Big Johnny beat Cena on Sunday, seems fairly standard and obvious.
Cue the Cena/Show feud that we have all been looking forward to for so long.
Wasn't a bad show overall though

Re: Raw results
Yup, Big Show is currently NOT a WWE Superstar (they were very specific with the stip). So Big Show will come out and do Cena in, get his job back, turn heel.
zzz.
Anyway, quite a poor show I thought.

Re: Raw results
A good Raw as you expect before an PPV.
Good opening segment with HHH and Paul Heyman. Who was the random guy with Heyman? I am enjoying this angle and look forward to see where they take it in the future
Johnny Big Show segment was a bit boring and wasted a bit of time in my view. It is so obvious Big Show will screw Cena on Sunday and turn heel.
CM Punk teamed with Santino new tag team i hope
End segment was pretty good with Cena and Johnny. Cena was winding me up a bit and you just wanted to slap him at times. The slap at the end by Johnny was a good way to end the show and set up sunday.
Over The Limit should acctually be a good ppv. The standard of ppv this year have been very good and im expecting this to be a good. Also its free (if you have Sky) Whos staying up on live chat for it?

He really wound me up at this point, that's the Cena I can't stand, when he sort of tells a story about the situatin, walks around the ring pulling faces to the crowd. When he was saying looooosssseeerrrr all the time that's when I wanted to slap him, that showed for me how much wrestling has changed, it was something a five year old would do in the playground, shocking stuff. I think JL is playing a superb part but like the others a Big Show heel turn and feud with Cena, c'mon please people like Ziggler and Rhodes are being held back for this sort of stuff, and Big Show slobbering all over the place crying, seriously was awful, had to fast forward that part.
Overall quite a good raw 7/10

Re: Raw results
Felt it was a poor RAW for a run in to Over the Limit. JL was great Cena was poor his looser call just made him look childish to me. Build for HHH v Lesnar was good but is hopefully a slow build like HHH v Undertaker. Rest felt to full of pointless matches and nothing that developed the storylines. Apart from Big Show which was just boring.
Wonder if Big Show might just come in and attack Laurinitis instead and so Laurinitis win through a DQ for Cena.

Re: Raw results
I would put Heyman into a power struggle of sorts with HHH, eventually leading to a match between Lesnar and HHH Where if Brock wins, then Paul becomes the COO. You could then have Heyman help Brock to the WWE title, and keep it there by cheap and dirty means, before eventually having Punk beat him at Mania.

Re: Raw results
Considering Over The Limit has been very poor the last few years and predictable I don't hold much hope for Sunday. Still hope I'm proved wrong.
Clearly Cena vs Johnny will not be a clean match, I think Bryan Punk will involve something with AJ costing Bryan the match, I doubt wwe are going to give out a cracking ppv for free. I can't remember the other matches apart from the WHC match.

It's almost like if somebody would ask a question and then interrupt telling them they didn't care...but that would be stupid too, and definitely wouldn't happen in the treasured Attitude era.

Wwe are running an anti bullying campaign I think lots of kids being bullied will believe that they are losers. John cena's promo. Join the dots.
I hated that promo how can you argue that he is so good when he delivers promos like that
It also seems they forgot it was a go home show I mean where was the simple line after John cena was playing to the crowd simply he needed to say well watch me on ppv beat him up
Not happy with show I suppose the show was a looooooooooooser

Re: Raw results
Just finished watching raw....3/10. It was shocking. Easily the worst I've seen in a good few month.
Cena was absolutely awful, the cena we absolutely despise. Why didn't he cut a serious promo? Does set up a show/Brock run in I suppose.boring.
I think over the limit will be average at best.

yeh looking back, considering I watched on fast forward at 7:30 this morning, it was dreadful, don't know what they were doing. Looking forward to the fatal four way at over the limit, possible Orton win?

Re: Raw results
I think they are two completely different characters cm punk didn't care about the company he was a heel effectively but cena is the face of the company and the face of b a star . Im not sure what punk promo you meant but I guessed you meant mitb one. If so i thought that was damaging to the company anyway.

Re: Raw results
There were a few issues that I had with Raw, despite enjoying much of the programming over the last few months:
- The WWE title has had no real build and for me lost any chance at credibility by having Santino involved with the WWE champion
- The WHC should have the hype on SD, to Raw... it seems as though there is little reason to watch SD if the only interesting part is on Raw now
- Making Brodus into a joke mid carder then having him squash everyone doesn't make sense
- HHH v Heyman was really good (as I hoped) but it seems strange that it was on this weeks Raw as opposed to next weeks... aren't they supposed to be building to OTL instead of next weeks Raw?
- I liked the section with the Big Show and genuinely think he is one of the few guys who can convey emotion reasonably well. I am nervous at the idea that the "bad guy" is the one who was picked on though. Or is name calling OK now?
- It may have been my imagination but I think I heard Jerry Lawler put someone over. This has only reminded me of how bad at this he is. JR used to cover this up but now with Cole he needs to work harder at it
Overall I think that the episode was OK but didn't exactly fit the aim of building to OTL specifically.

Re: Raw results
I thought I had recorded the wrong show. It was more judge judy with lawsuits flying all over the place than the wwe from the past few weeks. I was really disappointed with this show especially considering it was the last raw before a ppv.
