Where is the link? He talks sense yes. But like most of you posh don't realise, the LTA keep their system the way it is because they don't want the great unwashed near their precious lawns!

They chuck about 60% of their cash into an "elite" system in the hope that one of the numpties they fund will land in the top ten one day. That way they can hide behind their policy of excluding the masses and point to a system that works if one or two players actually make it.

Where is the link to the 60% you are quoting for how they allocate their funding?

Someone on here told me it was 60% for the elite. I thought it was 50%. 50% though is still a whopping amount for such a few players who all amount to failures. It's why they gave Boggo such a hard time for years. All that money and resources they threw at him and he ended up no good. The LTA focus seems to be on developing individual talent so they don't have to expand the game beyond a la-di-da social club passtime for the affluent classes.

Calling the LTA misguided is almost a compliment. Try incompetent, arrogant, seemingly blind or totally indifferent to their own short comings and run by someone who is seemingly totally unaccountable just for starters.
