I can't believe People are already selling Olympic torches

There is one for sale on ebay for £141,000

That's right £141,000, what has the world come too, ok great if the money is going to a charity and there is a mug wanting to pay that , happy days, but its more likely former director of a company who cashed in a favour with someone to be able to run a few hundred yards.

Already the Olympics is leaving a sour taste in my mouth, surely the money wasted on carrying a flame around England could have been put to better use?

It's possible that people are making unrealistic bids to stop the sale going through. I know when people started selling Live 8 tickets on Ebay they were quickly bid up to six or seven figure sums.

With the torches only costing £250 for each runner to buy and thousands due to be handed out, it would be dull to actually pay that this early.

Can't blame anyone selling their torch. I can't think of a single person (who isn't extremely wealthy) who wouldn't sell for that kind of money.
