Will this lead to another heel commentator or was this just to get matthews away from the lawler-JR partnership when he was stunnered by SCSA?

I think it was the latter though maybe he will develop a more prickly demeanour. He did play the middle guy between Cole and Lawler during WM after all. I doubt he would be another full on Cole character though.

think it was just to have those two on commentary or they could turn Matthews into Cole's apprentice on commentary

I definitely think it was just to let JR & King work together, Matthews didn't do anything wrong to be heal here so doubt it will be the catalyst for anything
