Ray Wilkins is a great assistant/coach to have, but a manager?
Ranieri would be a brilliant coup for West Brom, with the teams he has managed and the players he could attract.

Hughton remains the favorite, Ranieri 2nd. Wilkins is 3rd, but a bit behind the top 2.
Ranieri's struggled to stick anywhere in recent times.

At least with the tinker-man the whole squad would get a run out.
You can see it now. The Baggies are two down with 20 minutes to play and he replaces his two wingers and striker with a centre back, a holding midfielder and a Goalkeeper.
Personally I'd like to see Hughton given the job.

Each year it becomes more and more difficult to stay in the Premiership.
With Reading, Southampton and West Ham being promoted, last years promoted sides doing well (Swansea, Norwich, QPR), I think this is going to be a critical decision for WBA.
I think next year for WBA it is all going to be about survival and trying to build a firm base.
