Greatest ever with no major?
Greatest ever Golfer without a major
First topic message reminder :
I think its quite clear to me that Luke Donald and Lee Westy are two of the greatest players to never win a major.
But which one do you think is the greatest ever not to win one, or is it someone else!!

I'm going to say Ian Poulter, not because he's that good, but because it annoys the curmudgeon Diggers

Poulter is undoubtably the greatest bell-end never to win a major.

Basically whoever wins this is more or less the biggest choke merchant in the history of golf.

No and I certainly don't have the willpower to try and get a numerical handle on it!Diggers wrote:Do you have a tipping point where numbers make a difference Navy ?

saying there is a tipping point is the problem.
the more that play the higher the possible quailty- however the increase in quality will allways go down pro ratated the more that play- but the increase will allways happen- as long as all else is neautral

Re: Greatest ever Golfer without a major
Monty has the lowest score ever in a major not to win, had genuine close calls 5 or 6 times. Imo Donald and Westwood have never remotely looked like winning a major, i'm not sure either are strong enough mentally to win one either, partciularily in the case of plumpwood.

junior,
Your disparagement of Westwood only serves to undermine your advocacy for your father, (who I also support in this little poll).

Some of the words are reminiscent of English, but that can only be a coincidence because it makes no sense to anyone who speaks English as a mother tongue.

The person it was directed to understood it, and I am sure anyone else that has followed the conversation. Follow the thread and you may learn something or live on in ignorance. It is very simple.
Why are you on this thread btw?
