Australian Cricketers to go on Strike?
Currently the contract between Cricket Australia and the states and players comes to an end on 30th June. Negotiations have been heated and protracted, but with just 28 days to go there is, as yet, no agreement.
Paul Marsh, boss of the Australian Cricketers Association, suggests that "contingency plans" are in place should a new contract not be agreed. It would seem he means that the players will refuse to play in one day series in England and Sri Lanka this summer.

Hopefully this strike will go on and last until the end of next summer when Australia are due to tour England. That way, Australia will field a second string team which England should be able to beat easily winning all the test matches like has been the case V Pakistan in 2010 and V West Indies this summer.

Not really bothered or care at all about ODI matches anymore. For me allowing the Aussies these matches this summer is a bad move as it will give them experience of English conditions for next summer's ashes test series.
