Double standards question Empty Double standards question

Post by Adam D Sun Jun 03, 2012 4:38 am

Over the years, TNA has been accused of hiring "WWE rejects".

My question is, should Shelley and Samoa Joe go to WWE, will we all be calling them "TNA rejects"?

No, simply because TNA still wants their services.

We class WWE rejects as those that have been FE'd, and then turn up on TNA. As far as I can tell, there has never been a TNA star that was gladly let go by the company, only to surface on WWE programming.

Samoa Joe looks like he is being binned.

Is the Samoa Joe stuff legit? I haven't had chance to read up too much on it.

Samoa Joe was probably binned because of his backstage antics rather than TNA actually wanting to lose what he brings to the table in the ring.

For that reason, I doubt he will appear on the WWE anyway. He will probably go to ROH, and maybe even have a few matches with Kevin Steen.

It depends on the wrestler in question, Angle and Jeff Hardy were not considered WWE rejects when they joined TNA, but the likes of The Pope and Matt Morgan were.
Alex Shelley and Samoa Joe would certainly not be thought of as rejects, whilst if WWE picked up Garrett Bischoff and Jesse Neal then it would be.

Was CM Punk not fired from TNA?

Joe and Shelley have the potential to be stars but TNA have made a mess of them could do well in WWE

Punk left TNA after the Feinstein controversy, but he wasn't exactly doing much when he left.
