The curious case of Fabien delph
hi guys hope you're good, leeds fan in peace.
I have a chance at getting some work experience with a paper and i need to write about a local sporting issue.
As a leeds fan i have mostly wanted ex players to do well in pastures new.
When delph was sold for a handsome fee i was very sad but felt leeds wouldn't make the most of his talent in league 1 and the championship.
It appears Delph has fallen down the pecking order due to poor form and hasn't been able to recover the form that touted him as a future england player.
By the end of this year he will be 23. Still a long way to go career wise, but perhaps not at villa.
I would really appreciate it if you villa fans could tell me what your opinion of him is.
SHould he be played? Has he wasted his chance? Has he recovered his confidence from that long injury layoff? What he needs to work on to get back into the team or do you see him as a player who will soon leave?
Sorry for all the questions but if you could please contribute. thanks
have a good summer (bloody rain needs to sort itself out!)
