An Attacking Team
Out of boredom I decided to come up with my own World XV, with one catch-that it be as attack minded as possible. Choosing only current professionals I have come up with my own XV and replacements bench. If anyone would like to join in or offer advice feel free to do so, and forgive my Leinster bias too . So here's my team:
15-Israel Dagg
14-James O'Connor
13-Brian O'Driscoll
12-Sonny Bill Williams
11-Digby Ioane
10-Jonny Sexton
9-Will Genia
1-Cian Healy
2-Sean Cronin
3-John Afoa
4-Richie Gray
5-Brad Thorn
6-Sean O'Brien
7-David Pocock
8-Sergio Parisse
16-Dane Coles
17-Gethin Jenkins
18-Nathan Hines (covering second row & back row)
19-Jamie Heaslip
20-Francois Hougaard
21-Kurtley Beale (Covering 10)
22-Andre Taylor
Off the top of my head that is as attack minded as possible but please forgive me if I left anyone out.

Had to get a Bok in somewhere . I was thinking of partnering Bekker with Gray for sheer size, but tbh ive not seen him play for a while so I'm not sure what he's like.

Re: An Attacking Team
Surely Quade Cooper is the only choice if you want a purely attacking 10?

Re: An Attacking Team
He's too hit and miss jeff. Never mind his defence, he could throw a pass right to the other team that loses the game (eg v Ireland in the RWC)

I agree with jeff in that the spirit with which this team is to be selected should see Cooper make it. Compared to Quade, Sexton is a safe, unadventurous choice. Nothing wrong with making that choice for International rugby, but if you are looking for the most attack minded team, Cooper should be in.
Re: An Attacking Team
It's tough to pick forwards for this but the most attacking possible set of backs I can come up with is:
9. Will Genia
10. Quade Cooper
11. Hosea Gear
12. James O'Connor
13. Sonny Bill Williams
14. Chris Ashton
15. Isreal Dagg
20. Danny Care
21. Kurtley Beale
22. Digby Ioane

10. Quade Cooper

14. Chris Ashton

22. Digby Ioane

Can't help but agree with those calling for Cooper at 10! Far more attack minded, no other 10 in the world would try a cross field kick behind their own line!
Same goes for Gethin Jenkins, his try against Namibia alone should secure him the spot Tonga'uhia wouldn't be a bad bench option.
Bismark du Plessis seems to love a run with ball in hand.. and wasn't Best running in tries for fun in the last 6 nations?

Got to be Schalk Brits for the hooker spot, Quade at 10, Parisse at 8, I'd say Warburton at 7, Chabal at lock. I have a hunch that the original poster may be a slight Leinster fan, far too many Irishmen involved in there, not the greatest attacking side out atm.
