Couldn't Burst a Grape in a Fruit Fight: Top 5 Soft Hands Fighting at World Level
First topic message reminder :
Top 5 fighters at world level, who are top ten in their division, but can't punch. That have little to no one punch KO power. Go!!!!!!!
1. Paulie "Magic Man" Malignaggi: Soft hands for sure, although did the job in his last fight.
2. Carlos Molina: No power that one, relatively speaking.
3. Austin Trout: Didn't look strong in his last fight, gifted but not KO strong IMO.
4. Chad Dawson: When was the last time he decked an opponent?
5. Andre Ward: The guy cannot knock out opponents, but he can hurt them.

Exactly my initial thought

Not quite world level, but the guy Carl Frampton fought a few months ago, Kris Hughes, had zero power. Terrible to watch.

How on earth did Monte not see that one coming! He ran about 10ft towards him loaded up ready to throw!
If I remember correctly he'd just been floored so he wouldn't have had all his senses.

"Couldn't burst a grape in a fruit fight" Are we referencing Jay-Z or LL here?
I agree with your 5 davide - Trout bored the hell out of me.
Kid Galahad's punches seemed to have no effect on Wale last fight, looks like he has got decent skills though, hopefully he'll be able to adapt his game a bit as he develops.
Has anyone mentioned Tim Bradley? He's got to be up there too, he's a bit more of a volume man than pure punch strength.

Fairly decent headbutt on him however.

Always thought that Darren barker and Martin Murray punched pretty light
John Murray, much like clev he has a good chin and high work rate but his punches don't seem to do anything
Gary Sykes is one of the worst domestically

John Murray is an excellent shout, and if he isn't KO then what the hell is Gallagher doing walking his opponents down???

I don't know about hands but according to Mayorga Fernando Vargas has a soft round face...like a babies bottom.

Hatton wore opponents out but didn't really KO many, does this mean he had soft hands?

agreed - anyone who can crack ribs with a left hook does not have soft hands.

Special Note:
Joe Calzaghe?? Always seemed to stop opponents based on volume of punches with nothing in return. No real "snap your neck" back kind of power.
Earlier on in his career he was a KO fiend, he had to adapt his style as he had brittle hands, probably down to them being quite small!
