Tigers Season Tickets Empty Tigers Season Tickets

Post by Portnoy Thu 07 Jun 2012, 5:54 pm

"No Season tickets are available"

http://www.tigers.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/productseason.aspx

Now even I don't believe that.

What's going on?

I think (I suspect) that the Tigers are recalibrating STs available Alyn.

Not all existing ST holders will have renewed.

The seating plans shown last week assumed that previous ST holders would renew and some weren't necessarily enticed by the monthly direct debit scheme.

But even then, there were a number of seated/standing spaces available.

So I don't believe that many (if any) more than last year have been sold.

The deadline for renewing has passed with over 12,500 sold. Sales are now suspended to give people who have already bought a season ticket a chance to switch to better seats that mau have been freed up fron non-renewals.

ST sales resume next week sometime. I think Season ticket sales have been capped at 14k, whether that will be hit is a different matter.

Don't know if they'll hit the 14k season ticket mark but 12.5k already sold is pretty good, that's just over half the capacity of the ground for every game already sorted. Got to love that cash flow coming into the club.

Welford Rd lost some of it's reputation last season as we lost their a few times early doors. We need those big crowds to help provide the big performances so that the fear factor comes back to visiting teams.

Full price ST sales are now >13,000. This is now higher than last seasons volume, with a little while yet before the season starts.

In addition >500 people have signed up for the corporate hospitality season tickets. (not sure how many of the £3k ultimate packages were sold)

Apparently there are 70 reasons to buy a ST. I like number 28
