10 Reasons to be Positive After England Beat Sweden 3-2
1) English spirit. Everyone said that Roy's England looked alright but if they fell behind they would struggle. That wasn't seen to be the case when England fell 2-1 down and came back to win 3-2.
2) We got a win. That first win gives the whole team, the whole nation a lift. It doesn't matter how you do it, a win is a win is a win.
3) Only need to avoid defeat against Ukraine. We won't have to chase the game on Ukraine's home soil which is always a bonus.
4) Roy was right. To start Andy Carroll, fantastic header for the first goal and proved a problem for the Swedes all night.
5) Roy was right again. To bring on Theo as a sub and not the Ox or Henderson or Downing. Theo played a big part in both goals. Brilliant sub.
6) Captain Fantastic. Gerrard played very well tonight, especially his astounding pass to Andy Carroll for the first goal. Led by example, hats off to him.
7) We kept possession better. We had 50% of the ball tonight, good to see as too often England sides in the past would have only had around 45%.
8) We don't need set pieces to score. Another myth peddled by pundits before the tournament, "I can't see England scoring except from set-pieces." Well England scored 2 goals not from set-pieces tonight.
9) Entertainment. Under Roy, England were apparently going to be a dull team. Well it certainly wasn't dull tonight!
10) The dream is alive. Still alive and kicking. England are one game away from the knockout stages, a place many people doubted they would get to. They're only 4 wins away from the trophy you know...

12. Sweden are one of the worst teams in the tournament. More of a one man team than Arsenal!

England made a very ordinary team look great for half an hour. Far, far too negative when they go in front.
No need to play Milner in this game.
