Coverage of Scotland vs Samoa
Does anyone know who (if anyone) is covering the Samoa game?

Would you want it on your website?!
It's at some obscure time in the morning.

Well hopefully they'll do better than they did against Fiji this morning. Shocking attempt at coverage!

I'd rather ESPN than nothing, but I literally haven't seen coverage that bad, ever!
kept going to black and white, picture cutting out, 5 mins of the first half was spent watching football adverts - not great.
Hope they find commentators who actually know something about rugby too!

That's harsh, RDW, I thought it was endearing the way they kept getting stuff wrong! Added to the overall entertainment package!RDW_Scotland wrote:I'd rather ESPN than nothing, but I literally haven't seen coverage that bad, ever!

Makes me wonder what nonsense they said about the Fijian players - we didn't know any better!

ESPN are really good with their coverage of the Prem, far far better then Sky.
Sadly they seem to have spent about £20 on the coverage of the Scots games but somehow the grainy, badly edited footage with the dodgy sound recording seems to suit the match.

It's not ESPN UK coverage, it's a stream of the local coverage.

Richie Gray has changed his name
Laidlaw plays for Glasgow
Not only that he plays for Glasgow Rangers (I guess their rivals are Edinburgh Celtic)
Or should I say Edginburgh Celtic
Lamont on for Scott (we can forgive him thinking it was going to happen...)

Re: Coverage of Scotland vs Samoa
I actually thought the coverage suited the fact that the game was being played in a pretty little stadium in the south pacific. The commentators obviously were locals as they knew all the scoop on the Fiji boys.
Just a pity they hadnt had a visit from the friendly ghost of Bill McLaren reminding them to gen up on the Scots!

ESPN deal was only for coverage of the Fiji game, still unclear which - if any - british broadcaster will show the Samoa game.

If there's any coverage hopefully it'll be available on the internet.

Good win for the U20s over Italy - a brace of tries for Mitch Eadie and Jamie Farndale, plus a singleton from Finn Russell So we move on to the 9th-vs10th place playoff against Samoa, with no risk of relegation - phew!
