The Elephant in The Red Zone
Maybe this is a bit taboo topic and make some emotions but I think is important to say about it.
If the all blacks v Ireland game was a great emotions return to Christchurch for rugby after the earthquake and so important on the fans in the New Zealand then WHY could be hear only Ireland supporters in the stadium? And so loudly that they influence the referee decision on at least one point?? Where were the dedicated "Kiwis" who adore the all blacks and was so important to see them? And why they didn't shouting?

"The elephant in the room" is it an expression? Means something nobody want to talk about because is embarassing even though is so obvious is a wonder why nobody talk about it? I learn this in school and maybe is not translate well or I make a mistake about the animal.

Never trust a man, who when left in a room on his own with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on.

I think the elephant in the room, or better the elephant on the pitch was the referee.

That was only ONE Irish supporter in the crowd, pain.
He just happened to be a ventriloquist too. So we hit lucky on that one, so what?

Did the elephant escape from the zoo during the earth quake?

Re: The Elephant in The Red Zone
The only elephant in the room is the OP's continual use of poor English grammar to draw additional attention. The OP has on occassions lapsed into perfectly good English, but then reverts to his private little joke. This is offensive to those of us for whom English is a second language, those of us who use dyslexia as an excuse for bad spelling, and those of us who are apostrophe challenged. (I am all three).
Well Sir - I call you out. You are a bounder and a cad and the elephant in the room. If we were not virtual, I would smite you with my glove and insist you buy the next round.

You don’t know for sure so you must assume that he did try it on and didn’t try it on simultaneously.

Re: The Elephant in The Red Zone
As it happens there are loads of Irish in Christchurch at the moment as they've come over to help with the demolitions and re build.
Now i wasn't at the game but certainly did not detect any greater noise from Irish fans than from home crowd, indeed thought it was pretty much full on for most of the game .

Re: The Elephant in The Red Zone
The temporary AMI stadium is outside the red zone. So more like The Elephant in the Safari Zone.
Actually there was a slight quake when Dagg was in mid-air. He saw the terror in Kearney's eyes and selflessly took him to ground to calm his nerves and after the rumbling stopped you could see Kearney get up with a relieved smile on his face. And for his troubles Dagg received a yellow card.

I always thought the red zone is your 22 meter area.

I thought that the kiwi crowd were very vocal....when Secton was taking penalties. The lack of class was typical and expected.

I didn't think Sexton was that bad Surrey! He only miss one kick at the end so I don't think is fair to call "lack of class".
