• - Predict Early / Late (for KO) or Unanimous / Split / Majority (for Pts) - 1 point

This Round saw the giants of the Premiership enter the competition and whilst most showed just why they finished in the top 4 of the OMPL's highest league last season, unfortunatly for Tophat 24/7 he ran into an in form Alma who knocked him immediatly back out of the competition. There were no such problems for Compelling & Rich or 88chris05 who safely steer themselves into the Quarter Finals. Manos Die Piedra also made it through as he chases an unprecedented 'OMPL & OMPC' Double. Meanwhile Alanqlm makes it through to the QF's, the competition proving to be the perfect tonic to get over the bitter taste of last seasons relegation. ShahenshahG is also still in the competition as he continues the good form which helped him earn promotion to the Premiership...with the consistent form he showed in the league and here in the cup many will be looking over their shoulder come season 2 of the OMPL. Joining him in the QF's will be Reborn and Bellchees, who is chasing a cup victory which would earn him his place back in the Championship following his expulsion from Season 2 because of relegation.

So the QF's are over and we are left with our 4 remaining players. In a tight affair ShahenshaG won through his contest against Reborn, who could consider himself unlucky as in 2 other games 4 points was enough to get one through. Joining Shah in the Semi's is Alanqlm continues his incredible cup form. The man who tasted relegation from the league is quickly becoming the man to avoid in the Cup. Manos also goes through as he takes 1 step closer to possibly doing the double..in the very first OMPL season to say the least. Match 1 of the QF's was the tightest affair as 88chris05 and alma 4 tied 2-2 however since 88chris05 correctly predicted 2 winners to alma4's one he progresses.

The Semi Final's are over and we have our two finalist for the inaugral OMPC. In what turned out to be an anti climax as ShahenshahG had a walkover to make the final. 88chris05 will be kicking himself having come so far only to fall at the last hurdle having not submitted his predictions. The other semi was contested very closely. In the end alanqlm just missed out by a solitary point. He will be pleased with his progress and if he can take his cup form into the next season of the OMPL then he will surely be contesting for immediate promotion back to the big time. As for Manos...only Shah stands in his way of a League & Cup double. Can Manos do it...or will Shah upset the OMPL champion and get his first taste of silverware.
