John Cena on Tough Enough episode 2.
"John Cena visits episode 2 of Tough Enough which airs right before Monday Night Raw. Quite what his fruitty pebbleness is doing on the show is unknown but it is likely that he wants to yabba dabba impart his Thugonomics wisdom to the Tough Enough rookies."

Looks like WWE are trying to use all the star power they can to improve ratings for the show. Not a huge fan of Tough Enough and moreso now since Cena went on the show.

If they ever did a shooting angle Cena would still find it in him to AA the guy

I don't think these comments are really fair towards Cena.
He may not be the best wrestler but he may not even be there to wrestle, but he can take bumps and that's what they are learning along with the work involved within the WWE. I understand this may come across as bias because i am a massive Cena fan but believe me, i understand he isnt the best wrestler but he is a GOOD wrestler. It's been said many times before on 606 that if he was given opportunity to wrestle fully he would look very good in the ring, unfortunately money talks and hes only allowed to use the 5 moves that people hate (I don't). People give Cena some bad heat for no reason, most of the time. You guys know how hard he works and how he has gotten to where he is today so why not appreciate and stop hating?

I'm guessing Cena will be giving the usual speech about passion and drive and determination and hard work and sacrifice and loving the business and blah blah blah.
And then Triple H will come on in a later episode and try to outdo everyone who's already been on the show.

Holymiky, you talk about Cena taking bumps for the rookies. Cena can't sell a move for the good of his life. If he was there to teach the rookies and one of them performed their finishing move or something on him, he'd get straight back up again. He used to be a decent wrestler, these days he is just plain awful. Cena needs a good worker beside him to make him look good.
I respect you like Cena, and I have a massive respect for the man out of the ring for the work he does but in ring he isn't up to much at the minute.

Yeah but it's what he is capable which is important to me. Where he is right now and can't see it changing atm is the top. He has to be able to sell merchandise etc etc. He makes the WWE alot of money and the 5 moves help that. That's why hes only allowed to use those moves and maybe the odd couple other than that.

I'm not taking anything away from the mans ability to sell merchandise or what he does out of the ring. He is a top role model for kids.
I just have issues with his in ring ability. The superman gimmick is getting boring and he continually poorly sells his opponents moves. I mean, no matter how bad of a beating he takes he always comes out looking on top. Elimination Chamber being the best example. Punk and JoMo come out the following RAW, selling their 'injuries' from the hellish match they had the night before but Cena comes out and he is smiling like nothing had happened.

I have to agree with Steve here. Cena and Orton are two of the worst sellers I have ever seen. They get hit with everything and then they are up again as if it was nothing more than a light touch. Look at Orton at Mania. One minute he can't stand for long enough to deliver the punt and then he's prancing about on the ropes celebrating.
Yes they can sell merch, but they can't sell an injury.
Re: John Cena on Tough Enough episode 2.
I'm just wondering how much of the none selling is solely down to Cena and Orton though? Anyone else get the feeling that Vince McMahon has probably been in their ear telling them not to sell in order to 'keep them strong'?

Mikey Cena is the last guy on the roster who should be teaching bumps, he couldn't sell gloves to eskimos, the guy is utterly hopeless
