Might as well use this. John's superb when he's on his A game and he's tearing it up at the moment!! I hope this is a vintage year for him.

Not a massive snooker fan although usually watch some of the world championship in April/May.
Looks like a big scandal with the findings on Stephen Lee. Now Ronnie pouring a goodly quantity of petrol onto the fire with his apparent suggestions that there are many more players involved in match fixing.
Ironically greed may be one of the main factors that may help protect snooker. If player falls to temptation and gets away with match fixing on a small scale they are likely to come back for more. And maybe less careful next time, or more open to blackmail. So at least some players likely to get caught. Maybe it's a bit like politicians and the fake sheiks and lobbyists - dodgy players very vulnerable to stings by under cover journalists.

Re: PTC Discussion Page + Other Snooker News
Anyone watch the Senior World Championship over the weekend ?
The standard wasn't always the best but i do like watching the players from era , games were best of 3 frames so they weren't long matches ( except Davis v Chappel which went on for ever ) Stephen Hendry was in it this year but lost out to Nigel Bond in the semi-final .
Steve Davis ended up winning the title beating defending champion Nigel Bond in the final 2 - 1 pocketing £18,000 in the process
