Its probably been the worst kept secret in football that Zola was going to take over.

Atrocious, likely to be unpopular decision.
I've said on another thread, that if this is the price to pay for the new owner to bring in financial stability, then so be it. But there is a hell of a lot broken at the club, and the manager was not one of them.
I'll throw my support behind Gianfranco of course - but it smacks of being jobs for the boys, and doesn't set a good impression as a first act of ownership. Particularly to neutrals - who are wondering what the hell Dyche has done wrong??

From a personal point of view, I think Zola will help sell some tickets for our upcoming friendly with Watford, so happy days.

I think it's a stupid decision. Dyche did really well considering what he had, so to reward him with the sack is ridiculous, especially as they're replacing him with somebody with very little managerial experience other than an average, at best, record at West Ham.
It's not a good start to their ownership to be honest. If it wasn't for the fact that they have already been in the business of running a football club, I'd have thought Watford fans should be worried.

Unfair yes, Dyche has done nothing wrong besides be the wrong man. I wouldnt say he did well enough to get a big outrage though.

In that case it's similar to Chris Hughton being replaced at Newcastle, so it could end up being a massive success a la Pardew.

I mean Zola can attract players in a way Dyche cant.
ultimately if you ask Watford fans if theyd rather have Zola and cash or Dyche and nothing, the answer is obvious.
as a Forest fan, if the new owners want to dump Cotterill id get over it
