Re: Weightlifting Performance Standards
I've just started the Stronglifts training. Session 9 over the weekend starting from an empty bar (Olympic) in order to get my technique right. Everything is a bit light at the minute but I want to ensure I'm doing it right before I start lifting heavier.
In answer to the OP, I've never tried 1RM, but i'd guess I'd only be in the novice range for now.

There is an option on that page to put in reps as well(one rep max calculator). Fair play liver you're taking the right approach, nothing worse than too much weight and bad form.

Re: Weightlifting Performance Standards
I'm at Intermediate on all 3 lifts.
However, I am a bit of an old fart, 46.
I started traing about 2.5 years ago after doing nothing since I was 23.
In the last 2.5 years I have f***ed my shoulder and had to have an acromial decompression and also have a totally degenerated disk between L5 and S1 which I am leaving to fuse naturally.
Currently at my best since coming back and following stronglifts 5x5 but on a twice a week basis.
The standards referred to do not state whether the lifts are equipped or raw.
