The Good Old Days!
Ok...the sun is setting so im back inside the house and decided to hit youtube and re-watch some of the classic promos for yesteryear. Whilst I still enjoy the occasional RAW/Smackdown when ever I watch shows from the past I cant hell but think 'wow..wwe knew what they were doing'. We all love to reminise on past memories so I thought Id get a thread going where we can share our favourite promos/segments from the past; perhaps discuss what made it your favourite etc whilst posting a link.
Ill get it started..

The Rock at his finest. Showing everything that made him so good on the mic. His confidence, his swagger & his ability to tap into the crowd. This is quite possibly my favourite promo of all time. If the E want tips on how to turn Cena heel without too much effort then they only need to scroll through their video archives. Enjoy!!

Stone Cold Entrance
This one got me really hooked onto Stone Cold. I thought the guy was so cool and such a bad ass. To use your word Ozzy, I would love to see someone have swagger like this again. I know i'm gonna enjoy the videos posted on this thread

The below moment will always stick in my memory, it was when I first started watching wrestling and JR's response is insane. The whole atmosphere of the place is brilliant and the when he arrives the arena erupts!!!!

What an amazing crowd pop. On a seperate note, does anyone else think that today's crowds are far more subdued in general? and if so, is there a reason for this?

My theory is that the crowd these days is filled with a younger audience who physically can't make the same volume of noise that a crowd filled with guys in their 20s-30s can (probably loaded up with beer). This coupled with the less risque product dulls the crowd reaction. I put those 2 reasons ahead of the ability and passion of todays wrestlers compared to that of the past. Anyone else agree?

Agree this was a brilliant moment but what set it aprt was the whole build up with coming to see Austin in the bar and him refusing to help. Then we had the bit with Classie Freddie Blassie giving that speech and also getting to his feet with the camera then cutting back to Austin in the bar feeling a little peeved at himself you knew then something would happen.
The pop when he gave the 1st stunner was huge.
