Re: Interesting Article on Haye vs Chisora
Well, as long as he's being objective and keeping his intense dislike for Warren, Haye and Chisora out of it, eh?
The pi55ing rain didn't dampen the enthusiam of the Germans last year when Haye fought Wlad...nor was that fight a paticularly great advert for the sport so why should the rain do the same on Saturday. Some of the people who are going will happily sit and watch West Ham play football for twice as long with even less action so why should they get restless after four turgid rounds?
Maybe the author was one of those who spent all his money on a PPV, felt stupid afterwards and still holds it against Haye.
Is it written by Strongback?
Apart from that, there are some interesting points re whether or not this could be the death knell for warren. Sadly, like bactera and cockroaches, he does somehow manage to find a way to survive.

I do get the feeling that if you cut Warrens head off he wouldn't actually die.

Yes he obvious dislikes Warren, Haye and Chisora but who doesn't.
Warren gets a lot of stick and quite rightly. Empty promises with regards to quality on Boxnation, protected fighters, made up titles etc etc..I could go on but don't want to waste the time...
Haye since turning heavy has been pretty much all mouth and no trousers. Retires then decides to fight Audley, broken pinky, tasteless gestures that he cannot live up to against the Klits.
Chisora has proved he has no class but at least he is prepared to try and fight and give him his due put up a better then expected performance against Vitali.
Gun to head, if someone has to win on saturday I'd rather it Chisora by early KO.

Re: Interesting Article on Haye vs Chisora
Do you mean you THINK Chisora will win early or you just HOPE he'll win early?
Can't see anyone being knocked out cold on Saturday but you never know. Chisora threw the kitchen sink at Sexton and he still couldn't get him down whereas Price had him out cold. Haye punched the snot out of Audley and he was still on his feet but Sprott had him out cold. Neither are massive one punch KO merchants.
Someone is going to have to pile on the punches to force a stoppage and it could be either one. Haye doesn't fight like he did against Thompson, he's learned from that. Maybe he's far too conservative at times, but he's never going to leave himself open to a sucker punch or empty the gas tank so I'd go for Haye to win by boxing smarter and taking the opportunity when it arrives.
Wlad left no gaps for Haye to exploit and haye was too cautious to try and create that gap knowing he'd leave himself exposed. Chisora isn't as cagey as Wlad and will want to make a name for himself...not that victory over Haye is going to catapult him to stardom.
Haye fights cautiously but he fights smart and that's what wins this fight.
To quote General Patton, "You don't win wars by giving your life, you win them by making the other guy give his!"

i disagree, if he does a number on haye, he'll be top 5 ranked in the world and it would give him a shot at Wlad.

Like I said, he's not going to be catapulted to STARDOM. If Wlad and Vitali are the top two heavies, do you think anyone is going to know who the 5th best HW is? As many on here say, Haye is considered to be a joke in boxing circles after his fight with Wlad. Is beating a man considered to be a joke going to be of benefit to Chisora? If he batters Haye senseless, do you think Wlad will want to take a risk facing him?
He'll be out in the cold facing the winner of Povetkin/Rahman or doing pressers promoting his fight with Holyfield.

Re: Interesting Article on Haye vs Chisora
Wlad landed harder shots on haye than Chisora is even capable of therefore I cannot see a Del stoppage. Tempted to put a triple on Khan, Haye and Hall (undercard) all by UD.

Great article and all the more so for being absolutely spot on! What a shower of chancers and fraudsters this promotion involves. I said all along this would not be a sell out despite people insisting it would. More likely a wash out!
Two overhyped thugs fighting via a pathetic loophole in the law. What a sorry affair! Whoever watches this can have no complaints when it fails to deliver but the same kind of gullible folk that bought into Haye against Harrison have probably been duped again!

If Chisora wins then he will be catapulted to stardom. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded. Controversy sells and Chisora brings that by the bucket load.
The article is a joke btw.
