Re: F.A Cup
Am I reading this right, so if you play in the cup you can't play in the next round of the cup, but if you play the midweek cup game you can't play in the next league game?

Starting XI:
GK - David Stockdale
RB - Russell Martin
CB - Curtis Davies
CB - Craig Dawson
LB - Jack Robinson
RM - Elliott Bennett
CM - Joey Barton
CM - Jacob Butterfield
LM - Robert Snodgrass
ST - Aaron Wilbraham
ST - Steve Morison
Subs:

Zak WhitbreadStockdale
Martin - Davies - Dawson - Robinson
Bennett - Barton - Butterfield - Snodgrass
Wilbraham - Morison
Subs:
If winning: 70 mins - Whitbread for Wilbraham. Go 5-4-1 with Whitbread CB.
If drawing or losing: 70 mins - Sharp for Snodgrass, Shelvey for Bennett. Go 4-3-3 with Sharp up front and Shelvey in CM.
Tactics/Team Talk: Today we are going to play a 4-4-2 formation. When we defend we are narrow with two banks of 4. The wide men will get back and help the full backs. Davies and Dawson, be strong in the air, Dawson you sweep, Davies you compete in the air. Barton and Butterfield you are both creators, so look to get the ball wide. When we attack we attack with width, and look to get in crosses. Wilbraham and Morison be physical with the CB's, win everything in the air. Go out there today boys, and be attacking and look to win this game.

FA Cup last 16: Norwich City v Stoke City
- Spoiler:
- Starting XI (4-2-3-1):Thomas Sorensen
Alan Hutton - Matthew Upson - Jonathan Woodgate - Ryan Taylor
Clarence Seedorf - Wilson Palacios
Jermaine Pennant - Ashley Young - Matthew Etherington
Peter Crouch
The revenge mission begins here. Playing a much more solid 4-2-3-1 today to nullify Norwich's wide threat and hurt them in attack. They may play a weakened side to save players for the league, while we are playing a strong side. We should still treat them with respect. Be solid out wide, look to supply Crouch regularly. Ashley Young playing in the hole and given free reign to cause major problems to the Norwich defence. Palacios playing as the DM, help the fullbacks/centrebacks and break up play in midfield. Get stuck into Norwich, a few niggly fouls here and there would help break up any Norwich momentum. Seedorf is helping out but is our deep lying playmaker, get the ball to feet and look for our wingers and Young. Control the tempo throughout and show Norwich that we do not take losing lightly.
No Substitutions
If winning: Pennant and Etherington drop deeper into a 4-4-1-1, close down the game.
If drawing: Leave it as it is.
If losing: Seedorf pushes further upfield to try and make an impact, switch to a 4-1-4-1.

TACTICS (137 words)
We want to go on a good cup run and have named an attacking side. Cissokho and Anyukov should attack, and try to overlap the wingers and get crosses in, Krasic and Vargas are both good crossers of the ball and can also cut inside and shoot. Carroll should provide height and power in the box while Long should look to stretch the defense and make runs.
Diarra has a more defensive role where he should break up the play, especially pressurizing their main creative outlet in midfield (Aquilani?) while Cabaye should be creative and get forward more, take long shots. When we defend we should be compact and difficult to break down. If Bent plays then Coates should use his pace to match him and make sure he has no space to get a shot away/

Right lads its the fa cup. This is a fantastic chance for some of you lads who havant played much. If your siting there thinking this is just a little game it doesnt matter your wrong. Its a huge game for this football club and its a huge game for you if you wanna remain or squeeze into the 1st team squad.
Goalkeeper - You have played once before this season and did very well. Keep that standard up and you will be fine.
Defence - Big game for you all. You've seen how we play this season. Passing football out from the back to the midfield.
Midfield - Dean and Jem you have played a few times this season and you both know what to do. Dominate the midfield and hit it out wide to our exciting wingers. Jay and Michall your both class wingers use this game to impress.
Strikers - All i can say is take your chance. With the form drogba is in needless to say he will take some stopping. Big game for you boys.
Come on lads !!!!

Clyne-Johnson-Cuellar-Fabio
Guedioura-Frimpong
Bellamy-Augustien-Drenthe
Bendtner
Johnson and Cuellar expect you to work hard with first team places up for grabs. Communicate and stick close together, don’t be dragged out of position. Their wingers and AM will want to run at the fullbacks so be aware to cover. Frimpong, Guedioura and Augustien make a midfield 3 and dominate the midfield, you’ll have a man advantage in there. Frimpong keep a track on the AM if he plays, Guedioura look to break from deep and feed attackers.
Bendtner make a nuisance of yourself, and feed the wingers when balls are played into you. Attack the fullbacks when you can, if they don’t track back fullbacks need to double up and press the advantage. Bendtner win some headers. Both Drenthe and Bellamy cut in when possible and attack the CBs if possible.

Right lads, the pressure’s off tonight. Nobody expects us to get anything, let’s prove them wrong!
Defenders will stay tight man marking their attacking players. Wingers, double up with full-backs marking their wide men, cutting out the crosses. Need to be strong & dominant in the air. Let’s try and play the ball from the back, with RB supporting. Midfield play the short passes looking for triangles with the creative players looking for through and over the top balls to wingers/strikers. Ireland will play box-to-box but Petrov/Gardner will track the runs with hard tackling, breaking up play. Wingers don’t be afraid to run at them, lots of crosses to the target man. Ba use your physical presence and your power in the air. Don’t be afraid to shoot from long distance. Let’s attack in height and numbers from set pieces. (Not leaving us short at defending)
Subs
66 Mins – Darren Bent to replace Gardner, playing alongside Ba as the poacher. Formation 4-4-2
73 Mins – Aquilani replaces Ireland. Box-To-Box role looking to link up play with the strikers and wingers.
78 Mins – Delph comes on for Weiss. More added steel to the centre of midfield. N’Zogbia wil continue to push down either flank now.

Chelsea vs west brom
- Spoiler:

Gomez
Reid tamas Vlaar Shirley
Soares Gera
Dos santos tchoyi routledge
Lukaku
Defense: line at midpoint of bye line and half way, no offside- Torres has lost a yard he ain't getting in behind. Full backs to hold position.
Mid: Soares be all over gourcouff, gera control the tempo when you can and watch for any Ramirez runs.
They are weak on the left side with shaw Lopez romeu, out attacks will focus on that side with dis santos to cut in an run at shaw, exploiting romeus lack of pace and position nous. Wingers track full backs. Tchoyi to sit and destroy if we are being dominated other wise get forward.
Striker: same as last week, this time bury that chance against you old club.
Chelsea have taken their eye off the ball - they think they Re playing everton again, make em pay.

Walker---Heitinga---Caulker---Rose
Livermore---Barkley---Tiote---Sterling
Defoe---Guidetti
Subs: Friedel, Hazard, Modric, Adebayor, Vertonghen, Dzagoev, Bale
GK to command, be vocal to back line, FBs to contain wingers and block crosses, link up play with Livermore and Sterling going forward. Heitinga rough up their main striker with a few hard tackles, Caulker take up 2nd striker or wingers coming inside.
Tiote and Barkley both to physically battle from the off not allowing Reading to settle, whilst they pressure it will then allow the wingers to bomb forward.
Livermore & Sterling control the flanks with movement, speed and intelligence, mix up their game with beating the man round the back to whip balls across for the strikers, to cutting inside and threading them through. Don't be afraid to hit one from distance.
Guidetti & Defoe, mixture of energy and power, Defoe to use his movement & speed to beat the defender on the ground whilst Guidetti to use his strength and great goal awareness off the shoulder of the last defender.

Sorry these are late, something came up yesterday
- Spoiler:
---------------------Forster-------------
----Debuchy---Taylor---Chalobah--Bertrand--
----------------Benat-----Sandro------
------Varela-----------------------Marveuax--
-----------------Best------LDJ----------
This is a basic 4-4-2 formation. Our team has full backs who are attacking in defence who can offer width when our wingers cut inside, whilst CB's who will
man-mark when ever possible. Sandro is the defensive midfielder of the team who will break up the play whilst Benat is the creative force who dictates the tempo of the game. The whole team will press the opposition universally but our main focus is to win it, get it back and then into our two strikers who can create space With their movement before using their finishing prowess to scorers
