TDF 2013 rumours
the final route of the 100th tour de france will not be unveiled before a couple of month but here's how it could look : most of the stages are made up but we already know that some cities have already applied tobe part of it so then its a matter of putting some of this info together (courtesy of of cyclisme hebdo that did the hard work)
1st stage : 29 June Porto-Vecchio > Bastia : 200 km Official
Flat stage – sprinter to take the yellow
2 stage 30 June Bastia > Ajaccio : 155 km Official
Mid/low mountain, flat finish with the following difficulties: Bellagranajo (723 mètres ), de la Serra (807 m) and Vizzavona (1 163 m). probably a new yellow after this one.
3 stage 1st july Ajaccio > Calvi : 145 km Official
Same as above : San Bastiano (415 m) , Lava (498 m ), Palmarella (374 m) and Marsolino (443 m ).
4 stage 2 July team time trial approx 20kms in Nice Official - sounds a bit short to make a create big gaps
5 stage 3 July Cagnes Sur Mer – Marseille semi official
Then the rumours and half truth…
6 stage 4 July ? – Gap
7 stage 5 july Sisteron – Mont Ventoux (might not be the finish though)
8 stage 6 july ???-????
9 stage 7 july ??-Rodez
Rest day on the 8th of july
10 stage 9 july ???-??? (probably somewhere in the south, toulouse ?)
11-12 stages both should be in the pyrenees
13 stage 12 July Pau – Bordeaux
14 stage 13 Juillet TBA-Nantes
15 stage 14th of july ITT around the mont st michel (britanny)
Rest on the 15th of july and transfer
16 stage ???
17 stage St Galmier – Annecy
18 stage 18 july – Morzine- Avoriaz
19stage 19 july : probably Alpes d’Huez finish with galibier somewhere in the middle
20 stage 20 July : ??? – Macon
21 stage 21 juillet ????- Paris
