what have you been to see?

Evening people. Just got back from the olympics. I have seen the football, tennis, water polo, hockey and indoor volleyball. the atmosphere was fantastic at each of the venues and there was a real feel good factor with people even chatting on the tube!! I spent plenty of time sat in the park life watching things on the big screen too and saw many competitors wandering around. I think the hockey was probably the highlight for me from what I had tickets for. A great game that I now have a lot more time for. this is what I love about the games, it opens up your mind to new sports. So the question is have many of you been and what have you seen. In addition to that which sports have you been introduced to?

Handball, 100m final, all the veladrome action and Jess Ennis have also been excellant highlights.

Nothing yet. I'm going down tomorrow and then next couple of days watching some canoe sprint and women's hockey bronze medal match (which we could be involved in).

Quite looking forward to it now after watching so much on tv.

Saw the first session of Athletics, last Friday morning.

Had seats 2nd from back, right behind the goal (if there was one!). Great view and very impressed with stadium announcers who kept it entertaining and informative.

Also very impressed by whole transport, volunteers & military security set up. A great day out.

Gutted not to get any velodrome tickets now though!!

Fencing, hockey, handball, boxing so far with taekwondo tonight and Paralympic ahtletics in a few weeks.

you have done well mate. The handball looks good fun. I applied for loads of tickets and didn't do too bad just gutted I didn't get to the velodrome or the olympic stadium. I stopped at a mates in Oxford most days and travelled in.
